On both days the Equine America Rotterdam Hickstead Grand Prix Challenge presents an interesting line up with 20 combinations including very experienced riders and horses but also upcoming talent. Riders include senior riders such as Charlotte Dujardin (GB), Patrick van der Meer (NL), Dane Rawlins (IRE), Jorinde Verwimp (BEL), Sune Hansen (DK) and Mikaela Soratie (FIN) and U25 riders like Jeanine Nieuwenhuis (NL), Alex Baker (IRE) and Ellie McCarthy (GB). Between the tests there are interviews with all riders. After the live event, the stream and highlights program will be available at Horse & Country TV on demand.

Both Mariëtte Sanders and Stephen Clarke for once welcome the audience into the judge huts as they give their live comments to the Grand Prix tests. At the same time the audience can enhance the excitement giving their own marks to the performances of the riders and horses. Spectators should download the Spectator Judging App from the Apple Store or Google Play before the Challenge starts.
Starting order and other details are available on the event website rotterdamhicksteadgpc.com.

This online Challenge is very well received by both riders and sponsors. As they will tell during the interviews, the riders were extremely happy to put on their tailcoats and feel the competition pressure and find out what the results of their training during lock down are. Also our sponsors, including our title sponsor Equine America and day sponsors Rotterdam Topsport and Le Mieux are pleased to have an opportunity to present their great products and services again to the equestrian audience as they also missed the events which have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
