Close race in the top 79% of today's Grand Prix Special at Hagen

Sönke and Cosmo kept the competitors behind, but it definitely looks like a question of time before TSF Dalera BB and Jessica von Bredow-Werdl will be able take the step in front of them.

Today two of the judges saw Dalera and Jessica as winner, Danish judge a H Hans Christian Matthiesen and French judge at C Isabelle Judet, but it was all about decimal places. Cosmo with errors for both one times series and Dalera with a technical error free test.

Words of praise from Dr. Dietrich Plewa doing comment after each ride today together with Kim Kreling, Clipmyhorse.

And the rider Senta Kirchhoff was also impressed by her Danish bred 9 year old gelding L´Arbuste by Skovens Rafael / Zardin Firfod, bred by Morten Plenborg - “this horse just makes me speechless”.

VIDEO - Vayron and Langehanenberg ready for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final

Screen%252BShot%252B2019-04-27%252Bat%252B19.29.30.jpg

The scoreboard showed more tight competition than it looked from the “sideline”

Vayron must for sure have the stable nickname PONY, as he stand at no less than 192 cm. But watching him with tiny Helen Langehanenberg is a pleasure. Both yesterday and today super well balanced, easy to turn and ride both forward and to bring back, without any technical issues and huge rideability.

They were obvious winners even though the scoreboard said close race 73,049% and 2nd placed also Langehanenberg with Frank Sinatra with 73,024%.

Co-commentator at Clipmyhorse was Fablenne Müller-Lütkemeier who declared her fully love for the Vitalis offsprings, as she now has two Vitalis offsprings herself, and from her opinion they are rideable, talented and very trainable, of combined with 3 supple gaits.

27 starter for the Grand Prix Special tour today at Hagen

As co-commentator at Clipmyhorse was the international 5* judge Henning Lehrmann, who did some real nice comments and explanations about his way of watching the tests. Hagen also first qualifier for Louisdor Preis final - Danish bred L´Arbuste winner of the preliminary qualifier

Screen%2BShot%2B2019-04-26%2Bat%2B19.29.53.jpg

Since 2007 Louisdor Preis was established as a pilot project for 8 - 10 year old Grand Prix horses on their way to the international scene. A really great competition which has brought a lot of top horses for the top sport over the years.

Today’s Intermediare II was won by Senta Kirchhoff with 9 year old Danish bred gelding L`Arbuste by Skovens Rafael / Zardin Firfod, bred by Morten Plenborg. The combination was as 7 year old placed as no 6 at the final at WCYH in Ermelo, and since then they’ve been successful at small tour level. They look like Sunday´s winner as they showed a very harmonious test today without any technical issues.

Placed 3rd today was the stallion For Romance OLD with Swedish Therese Nilshagen (video of the test below). From H2R point of view For Romance OLD and the stallion Franziskus are showing many similarities at this level.

12 combinations qualified for Sunday´s final qualifier

Best ever test from Diederik van Silfhout with Expression N.O.P. today (video of test below)

The improvement of the general activity from the hindlegs was just so obvious since last time we saw them at the three earlier competitions this year.

All the way with the ears pricked and looking ambitious and powerful - just a lovely test to follow without any weak points, and 100% hat off for the improvement and strength in quite a short time, and the way Diederik is able to improve the quality and activity in the final piaffe just makes this combination together with the super balance all the way today’s clear winner combination by H2R.
