30 dressage foals will be at Limburgese foal auction
There will be live stream from both the presentation 25 September at 11.00 and from the auction starting at 14.00.

Finaledeltagerne til årets championatsfinaler er fundet
Igen i år giver hele formatet omkring championaterne anledning til, at der stilles skarpt.
Pointniveauet er så højt blandt de danske 5 års finalister, at det får både UVM og Bundeschampionatet til at blegne. Til det netop afholdte finalestævne for Bundeschampionatet var det svært nok “bare” at opnå 8,0, og her var kun 4 ud af ialt 112 kvalificerede 5-års heste nået til finalen med højeste score på 8,8.
Forskellige bedømmelser giver forskellige point
I erkendelse af, at man fra DRF´s side ikke har ønsket at lave gennemgående dommerteams for hver enkelt årgang, har man igen i år set store pointmæssige udsving fra de enkelte kvalifikationer, som præcist har givet forskellen på ikke at være kvalificeret - til at være kvalificeret til finalen.
Det har betydet, at hvis man ikke følte sig sikker på finalepladsen, eller havde haft en mindre god tur den første gang, så har rigtig mange redet to kvalifikationer. Og set i lyset af, at man tilbage i 2017 valgte at ændre formatet omkring championaterne for, at tilgodese den unge hest, så den ikke skulle gå indledende, mellemrunde og finale, har det ikke haft nogen egentlig effekt.
Udviklingen i championaterne
Interessen fra rytterne for at deltage i championaterne har klart været faldende over årene. Hvis man tager et sted som Billund, der altid har været “stedet” for de jydske ekvipager at ride kvalifikationer, og tager et kig på 4 års klasserne og udviklingen over de seneste 5 år, så er fakta følgende:

H2R har løbende gennem årene forsøgt at sætte fokus på championaterne og ikke mindst komme med input og nye forslag.

Når man har valgt at DV skal være en del af 4 års bedømmelserne, hvorfor så ikke tage et skridt i fremtidens retning set fra rytternes side, og invitere rytterne med til bedømmelsen af hvad de mener er de bedste unge heste? ”
“Championatsfinaler 2016 var igen med international topklasse
Med et kvalitetsmæssigt internationalt felt som de vi har set igen i år, havde det været skønt dels med en gennemgående dommer over alle 3 dage i alle årgangene, og ikke mindst manglede der klart et sæt internationale udenlandske øjne (ikke nødvendigvis en dommer, men kunne ligeså godt være en rytter eller træner) på finaledagen. ”
“Trøstfinaler er et MUST
Med et deltager gebyr på 2.300 kr er der bred enighed blandt de deltagere som kun fik én chance til finalestævnets indledende klasse - trøstfinalerne manglede.
Det er et championat for unge heste, og det er total nyt miljø. Uanset ekvipagerne har haft træningstid i arenaen, så vil der ofte opstå unødige spændinger den første dag, som kunne have givet potentielle finale ekvipager en chance mere med en trøstfinale, og iøvrigt også været mere på unghestens præmisser.”
Dommerstanden
Med et samlet indskud på kr. 230.000 for deltagerne i dressurfinalerne, og en samlet dotering på kr. 112.000, er der stadig et betydeligt beløb til aflønning af dommere, herunder muligheden for at supplere med kompetente udenlandske øjne.
Til årets unghestechampionat i Herning var den britiske internationale top dommer Isobel Wessels en del af dommer teamet, hvor ekvipagerne blev professionelt dømt og informativt kommenteret under vejs overfor publikum.
I alt 50 føl kommer under hammeren lørdag aften kl. 19.00 på Vestbirk Ridecenter
Blue Hors Zackerey topper listen med I alt 7 afkom.

Huge program this weekend at the British national Championships
Yesterday Charlotte Dujardin started this years championship with two solid wins, in Prix Sct. Georg with 9 year old MSJ Valencia by Vivaldi / Ferragamo with 75,447% (video below) and in Intermediaire II debut victory with the 8 year old Apache / Tango gelding Giro scoring 78,342% (video below).
Today Gareth Hughes with Sintano Van Hof Olympia won the Inter I with 75,211% ahead of Dujardin with MSJ Valencia 73,974%.
A pity the organiser find it more interesting with live podcast instead of live stream from the event.
The autumn performance tests starts with 14 days test at Adelheidsdorf.
It is alway interesting to see which stallions are doing their tests. This time a very interesting Vivaldi / Sandro Hit / Donnerhall son Vasari is among the stallions for the testing. Video below from the 1st day.

60 dressage foal ready for Prinsjesdag foal auction Wednesday 18 September in Ermelo
In general a very nice collection and with possibility to watch more foals from the same stallions as there are more foal for this collection by ex Daily Diamond, Toto Jr and Totilas.
Both the presentation Wednesday at 14.30 and the auction at 17.00 will be live at Clipmyhorse.
H2R favourites:
No 58 - looks like another top price Vitalis son - supple, uphill, big framed and expressive.
No 5 - super supple and top expressive filly.
No 16 - filly with nice expression and good suppleness.
No 24 - beautiful big framed filly with lovely uphill movements.
No 26 - filly with super sharp hindlegs and quick off the ground.
No 40 - the walk need a closer look, but lovely big framed uphill boy.
No 53 - filly with super interesting breeding.

The all overall impression from the upcoming HANN foal auction in Luhmühlen is a very nice collection of foals.
H2R favourites:
No 22 - looks like a copy of his famous World Champion sire.
No 31 - easy off the ground mover.
No 47 - Very interesting blood combination with Farrell / Sezuan. Super modern filly.
No 51 - very young colt but shows nice suppleness.

5 year old final
The 5 year old final became a kind of a show case of how to become a Champion. The very experienced rider Eva Möller showed Valverde by Vitalis / Ampere in the best possible way both for the preliminary class and for today’s final. Valverde is fully focused on the job all the way and Eva Möller is able to adjust and help him as much as needed without any tensions. The scoreboard showed the clear difference with Valverde scoring 9,3 and with the Franziskus / Damon Hill son Federer with Carlos Caetano at silver position with 8,6 and bronze medalist Anna-Sophie Fibelkorn with Don Mateo by Don Juan de Hus / Royal Highness with 8,5.
From H2R point of view the mare Quiana with Nicole Wego which came 4th with 8,4 should have been at the podium.
Equal placed at 7th position was Espe with Eva Möller and Damon Gold OLD with Danish Maria Falkner Hansen. Placed 9th today was Luxembourg rider Kristine Møller with Quatre-Quartz a L´orange.
Today’s winner became 4th in the final at WCYH in Ermelo.

6 year old final
In the final for the 6 year old horses Saturday Zum Glück RS2 OLD by Zonik / Florestan I and Robin van Lierop show a strong performance and kept the high standard from the preliminary class Wednesday. The winning score was 9,3 clear ahead of silver medalist Rock Revolution by Rock Forever / Davignon I with Lars Schultze Sutthoff scoring 8,8 and bronze position to the lovely grey Holsteiner stallion Caracciola MT by Chin Champ / Calido with Melanie Tewes scoring 8,6.
Zum Glück RS2 OLD with Robin van Lierop was 9th for the final at WCYH in Ermelo.

Fra kvalifikationerne udtages de bedste 40 4-års heste, de 20 bedste 5- års, de 20 bedste 6-års og de 12 bedste 7-års til finalestævnet.
H2R top favourite with top price and the only foal over 10.000 euros.
Exciting new Grand Prix horses in the making
European Team champions Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Isabell Werth both with “new” Grand Prix horses in the making. Jessica was showing the 10 year old Ferdinand BB by Florencio I / Lanciano and won the preliminary class for the prestigious Louisdor Preis final. Ferdinand BB is a horse with 3 nice basic gaits, showing good expression, much forward piaffe tours and lacking bit more expression for the series, but super nice pirouettes and good passage.
Danish Warmblood gelding, just 8 year old Rockson by Rockefeller / Sorento with Uwe Schwanz showing lots of go and super abilities for the piaffe / passage work, expressive series and a bit unbalanced pirouettes. Superb debut at this “small GP level”.
3rd today was Isabell Werth with 10 year old DSP Belantis (gelding). Before entering the arena Werth was clearly reminding the grey gelding about his job. Belantis is a gorgeous grey model, with lots of expression and suppleness. During the test with lovely extensions, good half passes, nice passage, but the piaffe itself is lacking more clear carriage and sit and becomes a with a bit crop high trend. Series becomes a bit tense and with error for the one times. There is still some way before the real Grand Prix, but must say, not surprisingly that Isabell will make it.
Tomorrow sunday is the qualifier for Louisdor Preis final starting 12.45, and it will be available online via Clipmyhorse.
Destello OLD by Dimaggio / Fürst Fugen with Beatrice Buchwald
Destello OLD remember the name
Following today’s 4 year old final at the Bundeschampionate Destello OLD with Beatrice Buchwald in the saddle just stood out.
Destello showing so much power, elasticity and balance for both the trot and the canter, always pushing from behind into a steady light uphill contact, for the walk it is with good quality and suppleness. He is super modern with lovely confirmation and still a bit naughty young boy like - definitely one to keep an eye on for both sport and breeding. Destello is bred by Stefanie Löhmann and owned by Sophie Fabri.
Just two foal sold for over 10.000 euros
H2R favourite Colt by Expression / Uphill sold for just 8.500 euros.
