In August 2022, equestrian enthusiasts from all over the world will turn their attention to Denmark and Herning. Danish equestrian sport will be hosting the prestigious World Championships in four equestrian disciplines – ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 Herning Denmark. The event organisers behind the World Championships experiences great support for the event, and most recently Helgstand Dressage has signed up for a main sponsorship.
– I find it amazing to experience the great support we get from the largest Danish players in the industry, says Casper Cassøe who together with Jens Trabjerg are the organisers of Herning2022.
– We experience that the World Championships has made everyone stand together in many ways which is very important in these difficult times. We are really looking forward to the World Championships in August 2022, he states.

Helgstrand VIP Lounge
The agreement between the Herning2022 company and Helgstrand Dressage includes several elements. Helgstrand Dressage will be the naming sponsor for the large VIP lounge inside the stadium - HELGSTRAND VIP LOUNGE, and in addition, Helgstrand Dressage will be the presenting sponsor for all Herning2022 competitions in dressage inside Stutteri Ask Stadium. Helgstrand Dressage will also be presenting sponsor for several of the jumping competitions in the same place.
– We very much look forward to helping to put Denmark on the world map during the World Championships in Herning, Andreas Helgstrand states and continues: – The World Championship is of huge importance to Denmark, and we would like to support creating such a large and accomplished event as possible.
Helgstrand Dressage is setting up a large, VIP Lounge of their own just outside the stadium. It will be used to present the many branches within the Helgstrand Group.
– We will soon start planning an exciting concept for the Helgstrand Lounge. The framework that is being made available seems to be outstanding. Our task will be to take advantage of the opportunities and make Helgstrand Dressage visible during the World Championships. That visibility is clearly important, but it is just as important for us that we help to support the World Championships in Herning, Andreas Helgstrand concludes.

NEWS AT HELGSTRAND DRESSAGE

The picture-perfect Janeiro Platinum (Sezuan/ UB40) has managed in embedding himself in most people’s memory, not only because of his outstanding performances but also as a result of his very impressive qualities, which is seen to be carried on to his offspring. This special horse caught the eye of Grand Prix rider Sofie Lexner, on her recent visit to Helgstrand. Sofie is master rider at Christinelund Dressage in Sweden.

- He is an athletic horse, with amazing rideability and a charming personality – actually he possesses all qualities it takes to reach top level of dressage sport. Already the first time I tried him, I was convinced that he was just right for what we were searching for here at Christinelund Dressage, master rider Sofie Lexner says.

Sofie Lexner and Inoraline W winning Scandinavian Open for 5- and 6-year-olds

Sofie is one of Sweden’s best dressage riders with numerous victories up till international Grand Prix, and she has also gained a lot of respect for her work with developing the younger horses.

- It is no secret, that the success of our business among others is based on positive results that horses from Helgstrand can deliver with their new riders. Therefore it is of our utmost interest, that Janeiro will move on to a place, where the focus will be on his future development, as this stallion holds unimaginable amounts of possibilities, Andreas says and continues: and then we are thrilled on behalf of the breeders, as Janeiro still will be available for breeding – he has been one of the most popular stallions in our collection.

The Danish Warmblood stallion Janeiro is by the triple world champion Sezuan, who is one of the most famous and desirable stallions nowadays. Sezuan has already secured his place in history as he has several victories with the German Dorothee Schneider in the saddle and is already promisingly working towards Grand Prix level with Patrik Kittel. Patrik will also have a great impact on the future development of Janeiro as he is Sofie’s dressage trainer. Janeiro has undoubtedly inherited a lot of great qualities from his father; not only the exquisite black colour but also his excellent gaits and rideability, looking absolutely promising for taking part of future top sport.

From now on Janeiro will be based at Christinelund Dressage near Helsingborg, with an outstanding view over Öresund, where Sofie will be in charge of his future development. The place oozes of high ambitions for developing talented horses, which is why they continuously invest in young promising talents.

- We have over time bought several horses at Helgstrand Dressage, among others Felina Lightfoot by Floricello/Onassis and Kavira by Franklin (Fierce-S)/ Sorento. We return to Helgstrand, as we always succeed in finding the right horses. We always receive outstanding service, while we are certain that the horses are of absolute top-quality.

Thanks to a good hygiene concept, the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. has been granted permission to hold the licensing in 2020. The event is subject to strict measures and hygienic regulations. In order to equalize the overall situation on the premises, this year's main licensing will already start on Sunday noon, November 22. For the free jumping, as already announced in advance, the way the jumping stallions are presented was changed in coordination with the responsible committees. VIDEO - Double CDI4 victory for Henri Ruoste with Kontestro DB in Oldenburg this weekend

Superb empathy and timing

Both victories for Finnish rider Henri Ruoste and Kontestro by Contendro I / Cassini II were ridden with outstanding empathy and timing. The way Ruoste guides the young and powerful Kontestro is really impressive, all the way in super balance and very light aides. Only two minor issues for the first transition to passage with a small misunderstanding and then the final transition to trot which becomes a bit late.

2nd placed today Dorothee Schneider with Faustus. Some smaller issues and error by the 15 one times. Super light and easy overall picture.

3rd placed Danish bred L´Arbuste by Skovens Rafael / Zardin Firfod, registrated by OLD, bred by Stutteri Firfod with Senta Kirchoff - married to Henri Ruoste. Huge development and security for the just 10-year-old gelding, and afterwards also rewarded as best OLD bred horse in the Grand Prix.

VIDEO - Daniel Bachmann Andersen ready for Louisdor Preis final again

Photo @clipmyhorse

Photo @clipmyhorse

Danish Daniel Bachmann Andersen for the second time qualified for the prestigious young horse Grand Prix series Louisdor Preis, for 8-10 year old horses.

Back in 2018 Daniel won the final with Blue Hors Veneziano, and this weekend he qualified once again. This time with the just 8 year old Danish Warmblood gelding Marshall-Bell by Blue Hors Don Romantic / Michellino, bred by Tina and Nicolai Jepsen and owned by  CVL Horses.

It was the first ever competition for Marshall not being home for sleeping, so of course Daniel was very please about his first appearance at a big scene like Oldenburg this weekend.

Both the preliminary and today’s performance was with high quality piaffe and passage tours, and clearly more settled over all picture today, where Daniel unfortunately was thinking left instead of right when starting the test today. Well balanced trot tour, strong passage and piaffe tours with nice transitions and super timing, good walk, no technical issues for the canter but you still get the feeling of some “green” moments with a bit of tensions for the series and pirouettes.

IMG-8489.jpg

Subsequently former international rider Heike Kemmer did a bit of comments about each test together with Kim Kreling at Clipmyhorse. Kemmer pointed ex out that it was a pleasure to see the rider reward/pat the young obedient horse after the very demanding exercises being thankful that the horse has been doing a great job. And Daniel did of course feel sorry for his own mistake at the beginning, but was really proud of Marshall as he was clearly more relaxed for today’s test than Thursday, and Daniel is full of hopes for the future with Marshall. “And obviously with such a young horse you need to support him as he is still not able to find the way all by himself”, tells Daniel.

Kim Kreling for the final question how Daniel was feeling about being independent and now with own business. “Business is running very well, we have a lot to do, and even more than before, but it is very nice doing my own business. I’m very happy I have really good horses and really nice clients, and I’m looking very much forward to the future with more horses educated by myself.”

Today’s results here. As today’s 2nd placed Katharina Hemmer with Signorina already qualified in Verden, Lena Waldmann and Grey Flanell will be 2nd qualified from today at Oldenburg.
