Yesterday with Grand Prix for the very long “long list” for the US team.

Like the recent German and Dutch championships the national scores seems overheated, and your not in doubt that the nations wants to show top points before the Olympics.

When watching the very nice test from Salvino and Adrienne Lyle you also clearly get the feeling of very positive scoring. You can watch the test here below and judge for yourself.

Future Champions i Hagen startet her til morgen

For de morgenfriske er de individuelle junior og ungrytter konkurrencer startet i flot sommer solskin i de smukke omgivelser i Hagen.

Et kig ned over startlisterne vidner om høj kvalitetsheste og avlshingste, så det er virkelig op til de unge ryttere at kunne leve op til forventningerne.

Lodtrækningen har været så de 3 første danske ekvipager var til start i første afdeling fra morgenstunden.

I eftermiddag går team konkurrencens første del med junior klassen som starter kl. 12.45 og ungrytter klassen som starter kl. 15.30.

Hele stævnet kan følges via live stream på Clipmyhorse, dog med den udfordring at man skal være Premium medlem for at se med, og derudover er det ikke muligt med blot et log-in at følge begge baner samtidig.

Thursday 10th June the online auctions of OLD riding horses and foals starts.

From the video presentation of the riding horses collection they quality in general is with good horses, but no horses with outstanding qualities. You can find the entire riding horses collection here. You get the chance to see the riding horses under saddle at 7 pm Thursday where a live presentation will be available at Clipmyhorse.

Among the foal collection H2R picked only two foals showing very good movements and expression.

Pleasure to watch Ann-Christin again this weekend with a very well prepared Finley, and of course they deserve a spot in the final which they actually already earned back at the qualifier in Mannheim end of April, but unfortunately not from the judges point at that time.

Placed 2nd Isabell Werth rider Niklaas Feilzer with Leo Löwenherz, expressive horse with highlights for the trot tour and well managed canter tour.

Imposantos and Bart Veeze showed a strong test with lovely suppleness but for more moments Imposantos lack more clear uphill open frame.

World Cup Herning with major changes

The Danish FEI World Cup qualifier in dressage is back in the city of Herning with an audience and major program changes. The ticket sale is open.

The Danish qualifier of FEI World Cup Dressage from October 20th – 24th is back in Herning and the arena Jyske Bank Boxen, after a one-year detour to Vilhelmsborg, city of Aarhus. The program is exciting with the FEI World Cup qualifier, CDI3* Dressage, Almased Tour, CDI1-2* jumping, international jumping for ponies with FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy and European Youngster Cup for U25 riders, a marvelous show and Danish Warmblood foal auction.

– We look forward to being back at MCH Exhibition center Herning. We have made major changes in the program, which we believe will make the event even more interesting for the audience, says one of the organisers, Casper Cassøe.

Dressage peaks Saturday evening
For the dressage enthusiasts Saturday will be an exciting day with 3* Grand Prix Special at 11:00 AM, and from 15:30 PM to 17:00 AM the spectators can enjoy an spectacular afternoon show. Saturday evening peaks with the FEI World Cup Freestyle, which is open for the top 15 best riders from the Friday nights FEI Grand Prix.

- We are very much looking forward to the new program. We have high expectations for the FEI World Cup competitions on Friday and Saturday night, says Jens Trabjerg, who is organising the event together with Casper Cassøe.

The FEI Grand Prix (short Grand Prix) will be held on Friday evening from 19:00 PM.

25 foals for auction
Saturday afternoon, right before the final of FEI World Cup in Jyske Bank Boxen, an exciting foal auction will take place in Arena M. The Danish Warmblood World Cup Foal Auction, with 25 specially selected Danish Warmblood foal.

Ticket sale are open and can be accessed at the website of the event:www.worldcupherning.dk.

National championships weekend for German and Dutch combinations

This weekend both German national championships and Dutch national championships comes up.

In Germany the championships takes place in Balve and in The Netherlands Ermelo will host the championships.

Starting the day with team competition Grand Prix Special part

Among the final five starters were the two Danish combinations Cathrine Dufour with 11 year old Bohemian by Bordeaux / Samarant and Carina Cassøe Krüth with 10 year old Heiline´s Danciera by Fürsteball / De Niro.

The expectations were high and with leader position in the team competition it was the ideal final preparation towards Olympic selection for the Danish team.

Cathrine and Bohemian entered the arena, and when they passed the short side away from the entrance Bohemian just refused to continue. He was clearly very tense and Cathrine tried in every possible way to convince him to follow her, but without luck. Judge at C rang the bell and they were eliminated. What a gasp for Cathrine and her team, as in less than 2 minutes the entire picture went from crystal clear to “what’s happening?”. It was like someone pulled the plug out of the tub.

Next to go was Danciera and Carina

“Danse” and Carina just did their thing with top qualities, super overview, beautiful frame, steady contact, power and suppleness. They just convinced the entire dressage world with today’s victory that they are definitely on their way to Tokyo. 77,872%

Grand Prix freestyle nightmare when music stops

Only Danish combination for today’s CDIO Grand Prix freestyle was Charlotte Heering with 15 year old Bufranco by Negro / Zevenster. As they have started their test and done the first 5-6 exercises the music stops. After some confusion Charlotte contines towards judge at C, German Katrina Wüst, and into the arena a guy look like a technician also appeared. After some minutes where Charlotte is walking Bufranco in the arena she get the sign to go outside the arena to restart her test.

What a challenge and really cool managed from Heering even though she naturally lost the concentration, and as Charlotte subsequently describe the situation “I kind of lost the flow”.

But when the music starts Charlotte just starts her test again and perform at strong test scoring 76,110% less than 1,5% from the 2nd place today.

What’s next for the Danish team trainer?

From being quite comfortable after the Grand Prix starting to dream very big for the Olympics with such strong combinations, till this afternoon where the picture not turned upside down, but became a pure roller coaster.

What’s next is only in the hands of Denmarks national team coach Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein and her chef d´equipe Anne-Mette Binder.
