Great ending Van Olst Sales Online the Foal Edition
The third edition of the Van Olst Sales Online foal auction has just come to an end.
The auction we started to create a sales opportunity for our breeders during the Corona pandemic.
The most expensive foal, the Glamourdale daughter Rayah, is going for €17,000 to a Danish customer, who also had the last bid of € 16,000 for cat no. 24 Ravell NN who also descends from Glamourdale.
The filly Ebby, who descends from the Olympic bronze medal winner Everdale, will go to America for € 13,000. Everdale's son, Reve de Rome, is also going to America for an amount of € 12,500,-.
A total of 26 foals were auctioned for a total amount of € 220,500,- which is an average of € 8480,-.

ONE YEAR TO GO: The ECCO FEI World Championships Herning (DEN) 2022 countdown begins!

Today marks one year to go before the action begins at one of the biggest sporting events on the FEI Calendar in 2022, the ECCO FEI World Championships Herning (DEN).
The Championships will host four disciplines, including Vaulting and three Olympic disciplines - Dressage, Jumping, and Para Dressage, with competition action running from 6 – 14 August 2022.
Equestrian fans, athletes and teams from across the globe will come together to celebrate the sport with approximately 800 horses from 70 nations and 200,000 spectators scheduled to attend a spectacular nine days of competition.
Competition opens with Dressage and Vaulting on 6 August 2022. The Dressage competitions will be held at Stutteri Ask Stadium, while Vaulting will be held inside the multi-arena Jyske Bank Boxen. From 10 August, the Jumping competitions will be held at Stutteri Ask Stadium, while Para Dressage will be showcased in the BB Horse Arena - an Arena with 3000 seats built especially for the occasion.

Den 4-årige hoppe Søbakkehus Duffy e. Sezuan / Uno Don Diego / Milan er ud af samme stamme som guldmedaljehingsten Hesselhøj Donkey Boy, avlet af Hoeck og ejet af Michael Søgaard.
Hoppen gjorde sig særdeles godt bemærket i dag på den sidste dag til stationsafprøvningen med en samlet score på imponerende 920 point!
“Jeg købte Duffy for et halvt år siden hos Nete på Søbakkehus. Til dagens afsluttende stationsafprøvning i Frederiksværk gik den bare helt vildt. Det er den bedste hest jeg nogensinde har haft”, fortæller en stolt Michael Søgaard, som tilføjer “Jeg glæder mig meget til selv at ride hende til eliteskuet på Vilhelmsborg i næste måned.”

Beautiful scenery at Danish Stud Selsø for the annual foal show
A small crop of foals were ready for the annual foal show at Stud Selsø in Denmark. A total of nine different places in Denmark for the entire judging of the Danish foals, but also with presentation of 2 year old mares and mares for grading.
Stud Selsø presented both best colt Hamilton Selsø by Ivanhoe / Lacroze Selsø and best filly of the day Liva Selsø by December / Sixtus E.H. and also a very well moving 2 year old mare Lilly Selsø by Ivanhoe / Sixtus E.H. (full sister of the best filly). (Video below).
From H2R point of view the youngest filly Lou Lou Selsø by Ivanhoe / Kostolany (out of Lambada 20 year old).

Daniel Bachmann og Anna Kasprzak var med I toppen af dagens felt I Herzlake
Daniel og Marshall-Bell leverede bedste dansker resultat i dagens internationale Grand Prix i tyske Herzlake med 73,043%. Det overordnede billede er en klart styrket Marshall som bl.a. giver sig udslag i meget bedre balance og ensartethed i passage turene. I dagens klasse med flere 8 taller for passage og overgange samt et enkelt 9-tal for passage, desværre mister Marshall balancen i priouetten til højre og det koster i dag sejren, da alle 5 dommere giver et 4-tal for øvelsen, og med koefficent 2 bliver det et 8-tal over hele linien.
Anna Kasprzak var skarpt tilbage på banen efter babypause med både Fuhur og Rock Star. Begge ture uden tekniske fejl, eneste lille ting var at Fuhur springer i galop i fremridningen fra indridningsparaden. Highlights var stærke piaffe / passage ture med Fuhur og super skridttur samt gode pirouetter, mens Rock Star viser stor styrke i en flot skridttur samt en stærk galoptur med super flotte serier.
