Danish Warmblood in top of today’s 5 year old class

For the 5 year old preliminary test today the Danish Warmblood World champion Hesselhøj Down Town showed his outstanding qualities entering the arena as it was just his arena and just wanted to show off together with Jeanna Högberg. Fully focused and powerful all the way, for some moments the tempo for the trot tour became a bit to much forward, but nevertheless he never lost momentum. Scoring: Trot 10 - walk 9.5 - canter 10 - ride ability 10 - capacity 9.8 = total 98,600.

2nd today Tophøjs Diadora with another outstanding performance from Spanish Eric Guardia Martinez. His way of showing the mare and keeping her focused all the way even though the canter tour today becomes with some tensions and not really a 9,0.

The mare Svalegårds Hot Zalina with Michael Grønne Christensen is a pure Grand Prix horse but still only 5 year old.

With Fynch Hatton Andreas Helgstrand has another high quality stallion under saddle. From H2R point of view his trot tour today was even better than Down Town as it was more controlled all the way, but still only scoring 9,3!

The 12 best from today are ready for the finals Sunday. Remember you can purchase access for live stream at Zibrasport.tv for just 20 euro.

6 year old class

Just WOW test from Kasprzak Dressage rider Josefine Hoffmann with the mare RGS Finest Alegra. Super supple, obedient, correct, expressive, well balanced and not least today’s most soft and steady contact - a real dream test. They definitely look like a clear champion combination. They were well deserved rewarded with a 10 for ride ability. Scoring: Trot 9.3 - walk 9.7 - canter 9 - ride ability 10 - capacity 9.5 = total 95.000

New combination Allan Grøn with Sezuan søn Suarez as he was recently sold to Signe Kirk Kristiansen. They showed a strong performance and like at WCYH in Verden he seems to very honest and rideable in the arena.

Rikke Dupont showed her super mare Nova with a lovely test, today with a bit of tensions for the walk tour, but very convincing and expressive trot tour and super canter tour. Super steady contact and nice frame.

Sweetnes with Silje Bakken brings something extra today with a bit of tensions for the walk tour.

Sir Floresco and Moisés Azuar takes the victory in today's preliminary 4 year old class

My Vitality - photo credit: Helgstrand Dressage

My Vitality - photo credit: Helgstrand Dressage

Huge development for Sir Floresco by Sir Heinrich / Floresco and presented well balanced in a super frame and contact by spanish rider Moisés Azuar. You maybe could wish for a bit more under the gravity push from behind for the trot work but very rhythmical and balanced.

H2R personal favourite for the final is My Vitality with Spanish rider Eric Guardia Martinez in the saddle. Super happy supple combination, as both of them looked very comfortable and harmonious throughout their performance today. My Vitality shows huge ride ability and qualities without any tensions. H2R goes all in for the stallion performance test winner for the final.

Today’s winner Marianne Helgstrand with Elverhøjs Raccolto showed a strong test without any technical issues. For some moments Raccolto became a bit tight in the neck with somewhat strong contact.

Placed 8:

Lovely mare with super expression and lots of quality throughout the test, unfortunately lost the canter at the short side after the three times.

Black focus fillies

Also this time one of the very well known and successful breeders Stutteri Worre is represented with two very interesting fillies from the best mare lines and with very attractive international Grand Prix sires.

Worre My Dream by Glock´s Dream Boy / Blue Hors St. Schufro is a very interesting filly for both sport and breeding. Both Dream Boy (with Dutch Olympic rider Hans Peter Minderhoud) and St. Schufro (with Danish Olympic rider Nanna Merrald) has proven themselves in the sport and breeding with top qualities in the Grand Prix sport and with very rideable and talented offsprings.

Worres Nikita by Glamourdale / Franklin shows power and suppleness from both sire and dam sire.

Glamourdale recently scored Person Best in his 2nd ever international Grand Prix Special in Aachen with impressive 77,170% together with British Charlotte Fry. Franklin has during the years proven himself as a top foal producer, recently Franklin was named Elite stallion in Danish Warmblood and now we also starts to see him as dam sire in the future breeding. Impressive achievements for 14 year old Rose Oatley entering the senior scene this weekend

European Pony Champion Rose Oatley entered the senior scene this weekend at Nürnberger Burg-Pokal qualifier in Schenefeld with her 8 year old Rock Revolution and both days with impressive top placements.

Rock Revolution and Rose made their junior debut back in April. Rose show her young talented horse with super nice flow and go with three really good paces and a very strong canter tour.

As Rose is still able to continue her very successful career with her just 11 year old super pony Daddy Moon combining with picking up her junior/senior career this will be the future plan for now, tells her very proud mum Kristy Oatley after this weekend in Schenefeld.

Both yesterday and today Danish Daniel Bachmann Andersen finished second with his lovely grey stallion Caracciola. Super nice frame, lovely power and balance without any technical issues, the collection walk tour could be a bit sharper like Caracciola looses the balance for both walk pirouettes today.

Ingrid Klimke secured her ticket for the final today showing a good test without any technical issues.

The final will take place in Frankfurt from 16 - 19 December.

Focus filly with most activity

The foal with currently most bids is the filly by Freetown / Skovens Rafael. Current price is 13.000 euro from The Netherland. From the presentation video this filly looks very well balanced and femine.

The sire Freetown himself recently did a very nice 2nd qualifier for the national Danish Young Horse Championship with Swedish rider Jeanna Högberg scoring 8,62. Damsire Danish Warmblood Skovens Rafael is sire of among other international successful L´Arbuste with Senta Kirchhoff in the saddle and producer of many sport horses.

Nürnberger Burg-Pokal qualifier in Schenefeld this weekend

Screen Shot 2021-10-02 at 20.07.48.png

Danish Daniel Bachmann Andersen clear winner when watching the preliminary Nürnberger Burg-Pokal qualifier today, but the judges saw Ingrid Klimke with EQUITANA´s Firlefranz as today’s winner.

Daniel was showing a supple and expressive test with good flow, good canter tour with nice half pirouettes and series, the collected walk becomes bit tense and 1st walk pirouette lack more balance.

EQUITANA´s Firlefranz missing bit more natural go for the trot tour, the quality of the walk is good, but lacking more balance for walk pirouettes, the canter tour lacking more clear forward search.

Here you find the start and results.

The 12 best combinations will be at start for the qualifier for the final.
