Fra i går tirsdag til på søndag går det løs i spanske Sevilla
SICAB i Sevilla er PRE hestenes svar på Dansk Varmblods hingstekåring i Herning. Her findes alle discipliner som PRE hestene anvendes til, samtidig med at der også er klassiske bedømmelser af hestene ved hånd.
Et lille kig på den indledende 5 års klasse i går gav bestemt ikke nogen dybere mening med hvad de spanske dommere vil se når de kigger gangarter, ridelighed og potentiale - ihvertfald ikke det samme som en dressurdommer vil se.

Afsked med PRE hingsten Grandioso
Lørdag aften bliver med officiel afsked med PRE hingsten Grandioso som har været fast på det spanske team sammen med Daniel Martin Dockx til OL i London 2012, EM i Danmark 2013, VM i Frankrig 2014, EM i Aachen 2015 og OL i Rio i 2016. Grandioso som nu er 17 år, vil nyde sit otium i Wellington, Florida hos sin ejer amerikanske Kim Boyer.

SICAB in Sevilla is for PRE horses like stallion licensing in Herning, Denmark is for Danish Warmblood. All disciplines are represented which the PRE horses are used for, while there are also classic competitions of the horses shown by hand.
A look at the preliminary 5-year class yesterday you certainly not got any deeper knowlegde about what the Spanish judges will see when they look at gaits, rideability and potential - at least not the same as a dressage judge will see.

Farewell to PRE stallion Grandioso
Saturday night will be the official farewell to PRE stallion Grandioso which has been a part of the Spanish team with Daniel Martin Dockx for the Olympics in London 2012, European Championship in Denmark 2013, World Championship in France 2014, European Championships in Aachen 2015 and the Olympics in Rio in 2016. Grandioso is now 17 years old, will enjoy his retirement in Wellington, Florida with his own American Kim Boyer.
