Watching the final ring at the approval of the 4-year-old and older stallions gave a clear picture that the cream had been skimmed. The stallions were not big in numbers but the quality was exquisite

At the Danish Warmblood stallion licensing all approved stallions were presented in hand in the major arena Boxen for the judges to appoint the champions among the 4-year-old and older stallions.

All four 4-year-old dressage stallions were German bred and all four of them presented by Helgstrand Dressage. The impressive stallion Revolution will stand out of the crowd at any licensing, and so he did in Herning where the audience applauded the stallion enthusiastically. Revolution won the Danish stallion performance test last November where he achieved nothing less than seven times 10. The judges announced that if anyone has difficulties in understanding the term “uphill” when used about a horse’s gaits then they only need to watch Revolution in canter. – He is a fascinating stallion and stands in a league of his own. At the performance test, he showed a very positive attitude and great willingness to work for the rider. We look forward to observing his further development, the licensing committee stated.

5-year-old Hove’s Terminator was awarded the Aage Ravn Challenge Trophy as the best Danish bred dressage stallion with an approved performance test result.
