Danish breeder success at OLD saddle licensing

International Champion (OLD PRESS RELEASE)

Internationality counts. The radiant Champion of the Oldenburg Saddle Licensing held at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta is Texas Tokio by Tomahawk out of Miss Zain Blue by Zack - Michellino, bred by Lena und Rasmus Dalsgaard, Dänemark, and exhibited by: Jamie Welling, USA. His father Tomahawk impressed as price highlight at the Oldenburg licensing in 2013. This magnificent mover will be sold tomorrow on April 1st at the 86th Spring Elite Auction in Vechta. 

The Reserve Champion title went to Damian, a son of Damon Hill out of Fürstin Weihegold by Fürst Romancier, bred by Lone Boegh-Henriksen, Denmark, exhibited by HP Horses Aps, Denmark. He is out of the famous dam line of Weissena and a grandson of the Olympic champion Weihegold of Don Schufro out of Weihevoll by Sandro Hit, who has won the starting Grand Prix of the Worldcup-Final in Omaha. Weihegold OLD is mother of three brillant mares and four auctions highlights.

The I-c premium was awarded to a son of Desperado out of Soraja by Jazz - Visioen, bred by family Andeweg, Netherlands, exhibited by Ad Valk Dressage Horses B.V., Netherlands. His father is the double world champion Desperado, a successful dressage horse under his rider Emmelie Scholtens. 

All in all, the licensing committee of Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes licensed eight stallions. 

Several of the stallions at the saddle licensing will be sold tomorrow, on April 1st, at the 86th Spring Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta. Starting at 12:00 noon you have a chance to try out the young stallions under saddle.
