Grand Prix Special victory with 75,059% - personal best for Dante and Therese

Smooth power test all the way. High concentration and power. Super start steady halt and direct forward. Expressive extended trot, good half pass to right, but even more smooth and relaxed to left. Sharp on the letters for passage and easy transitions in and out. Good walk. Easy like in easy, because it just looked like an transition that could have been to canter or any other exercise. Good passage and also 2nd piaffe is very well executed. Good transition to canter. Lovely balance for canter half passes. Good series. Canter pirouette at right was with high class carriage, canter and control. Good transition to collected trot and expressive extended trot. Final centerline with some tensions hind for the passage. Good piaffe and nice transitions. Well done with personal best and two victories for their comeback.

And it was not just Dante Weltino himself who did a great job today. In Britain Danish Anders Dahl and the 6-yr-old Daytona Platinum by Dante Weltino won two classes with 83,8% and 86%, while the 6-yr-old mare Hanami by Dante Weltino won the qualifier for the Bundeschampionate in Redefin with Sandra Nuxoll with 8,60.

Next stop for Dante and Therese will be at CDI4 in Roosendaal, the Netherlands first weekend in June.

2nd placed today was Italian Pia Laus with Shadow. The Grand Prix Special test and 2nd day in the arena is obvious more comfortable for Shadow. Good power and smooth expressive trot / passage tours, good 1st piaffe but lack clear flow out, bit tense zig-zag canter, good series and pirouettes. Bit quiet final piaffe at the centerline but clear rhythm and good transitions.

3rd placed today Stella Hagelstam with New Hill Julitrea, a lovely power mare with whole package, and today just with some minor tensions and an error by the 15 one time tempies. Lovely expression and power of the ground.

Gørklintgårds Fanero and Lena Leschley Aamann best Danish combination placed no 5 today.
