2nd last event to secure an attractive ticket for the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final is this weekend at Donaueschingen. Today with the preliminary Prix Sct. Georg Special where just 12 combinations are qualified for Saturday´s Prix Sct. Georg special.

Isabell Werth was ready for today with QC Flamboyant OLD by Fidertanz / De Niro. The long legged boy has been at the stables of Werth since end of 2014, and lately competed at national small tour level by Werth rider Niklaas Feilzer.

No doubt the big young gelding is in the best hands for the future sport, and with today´s error free test Werth brought herself and Flamboyant into the absolute favorite position for tomorrows final qualifier by winning today´s test with 78,317%.

3 stallions at subsequent placements

Desario is a super supple mover and showed a good test with Oliver Oelrich, but becomes a bit unbalanced for the canter tour.

Bodyguard with Matthias Bouten is shown with a lovely contact throughout the entire test. Small lack of beat for the first diagonal, smooth half passes, superb walk tour with nice walk pirouettes. Bit unbalanced into the first canter pirouette, and both series could be with a bit more relaxation.

Matthias Alexander Rath showed the stallion Beauleiu by Bentley / Sandro Hit. Lack bit strength for extensions, and during the walk tour and canter tour you could wish for a bit more clear forward search into the hand.
