Championship field for today´s World Cup Grand Prix in Amsterdam

Werth is the Queen, but today Langehanenberg was the winner (by H2R)

With a start list like today´s World Cup Grand Prix the expectations were really high for the qualities and the standard, but for more of the combinations they were struggling a bit for the clear test today.

Top 3 plus Danish Warmblood stallion Glock´s Zonik N.O.P.

The judges decision were much more clear than seen from the sideline with 3% between Werth and Langehanenberg.

1) Isabell Werth is focused about the task as always, but today Weihegold OLD did not look as if she was at the same form as her rider. Today with limited extensions, half passes correct but lacking power and expression, collected walk a bit unbalanced, clear two times but Werth is very clear with her aides (much more visual as we´ve seen it before) and when comes to the one times you get the feeling why Werth was so clear with her aides for the two times, as there are more errors for the one times. It was not an obivious victory today even with the superb pirouettes and wauw final centerline. 80,217%

2) Helen Langehanberg and Damsey FRH made an overall much easier picture for today´s test and also showing an error free test, with just some minor issues along the way. Power supple extensions, superb walk tour, great series and very controlled and high quality pirouettes. 77.939%.

3) Patrik Kittel and Deja showing a great performance today. They are slowly getting there when speaking about the piaffes. Much more acceptance from Deja, eventhough she is still lacking the full relaxation to be able to stay in the clear trot rhythm for the entire exercise. Today with an error in the one times. Light and easy picture with a steady confident power expression. 74,304%.

4) After the first part Danish Warmblood stallion Glock´s Zonik N.O.P. and Edward Gal took the lead showing a strong test, especially for the trot tour and superb walk. Very nice open frame all the way. The young stallion is still lacking some more strength for the passage tours, and a few issues for today´s canter tour with an error by the two times, zig-zag with a small error and bit unbalanced, and again lack of balance at the end of the first pirouette, where Zonik steps on himself. Scoring 74,283%.
