VIDEOS - The Danes and Severo rocked Boxen in today's CDI4 Grand Prix freestyle

The strong Danes

This years CDI4 became like a small Danish Championship in Herning. Top motivated, top fit and top competitive Danish combinations, and with a sharp debut from 9 year old Danish Warmblood top mare Fiontini with “Denmarks” Severo Jurado Lopez.

I was a great great comeback for Cathrine Dufour with Atterupgaards Cassidy winning both the Grand Prix and today’s freestyle with top scores and top performances. Looked like a very “hungry” combination going for it all the way both days, even though Cathrine has become very ill during the event with some kind of stomach flue. But as expected she managed as a pro, but she told that after her test she was nearly not able to get of Cassidy by herself.

Don O and Daniel were shining both days too. The young stallion looked so confident for both classes, and after the Grand Prix Daniel Bachmann told that he now really gets the feeling that Don O getting the routine, strength and overview during the entire test. For today’s freestyle there were just a few minor issues.

International CDI4 debut with huge imprint from Spanish Severo Jurado Lopez with his 9 year old super mare Fiontini. Grand Prix debut friday with 75,913% and today with 80,060% (watch both tests below and interview after the Grand Prix).
