Danish Warmblood mare Skovens Tzarina & Isabell Werth wins CDI1 Prix St. Georg in Hamburg

Werth open this years edition of international event in Hamburg with a small tour victory with 11 yr old Danish Warmblood mare Skovens Tzarina by Blue Hors Zack / Blue Hors Don Schufro, bred by Kirsten Bjerregaard Hansen & Jens Lund Pedersen, owner Victoria Max-Theurer.

Lately Werth made comeback with Skovens Tzarina in Lier two weeks agon with somewhat tense performances. Already today much more settled after a bit tense start the trot tour becomes expressive and well managed all the way by Werth. Entering not fully straight into the halt, first shoulder in bit to open, nice extensions, the walk tour is with some tensions but still clear rhythm for both collected and extended walk, both walk pirouettes missing bit more clear balance, look like Tzarina feels comfortable for the entire canter tour. No technical issues.

Boa Vista FRH by Bon Coeur / Scolari & Greta Heemsoth with super nice outline and contact all the way, supple trot tour in good balance, bit short for the walk tour and missing bit more activity for walk pirouettes, starting bit tense for the canter tour but becomes more settled during the performance. No technical issues.

Kavira by Franklin / Sorento with Swedish Sofie Lexner shows a very nice performance, bit tense for entering halt but from there super expressive, supple power trot tour, super uphill shoulder in, well balanced volte, super extensions, nice contact and frame all the way, good walk tour not with top suppleness but clear and well balanced for both collected walk and extended, both pirouettes missing bit more activity, becomes bit cautious, nice canter tour tiny tension for a few flying changes but for sure bringing more and more experience into the arena. Sofie has her long time Danish trainer Rune Willum at the side in Hamburg.
