Werth and Wendy on their way to the 2025 Champion title

Wendy and Werth shines at German Championship

The 11 yr old Danish Warmblood mare Wendy de Fontaine and Isabell Werth enters the scene again with a great performance.

We haven´t seen Werth and Wendy since last year at Lövsta Top 10 and Wendy has been at the entry list for two internationals but didn´t show up.

Luckily she is back in top form showing a really nice performance. Overall more relaxed natural movements, less up / down but clearly better supple forward flow without being hectic. Some tensions creeping into the piaffe tours but not reflected by any disturbance of the balance and rhythm. Bit tense rein back, but nice halt. A clear picture of the better relaxation is the walk tour which for both the extended walk and especially the collected walk with clear rhythm and good quality. (Yes Werth could show Wendy in a bit more collected frame for the collected walk, but this frame seems to be the best way to keep the best balance and rhythm). Solid canter tour where you could wish for more jump of the ground for the series and an error also creeping into the middel of the one times, nice pirouettes, nice balanced final centerline.

Silver and bronze

Bluetooth OLD and Denoix will for sure be the two horses for the podium in the Special, and it is all about the form of the day. Tiny errors will make the diffirences even though it is two completely different horses and riders with different highlights.

Not at the podium

Diallo with Jessica is still a fairly new combination and they still need more time and will from H2R point of view not be able to challenge the podium.

Vayron

Such a pity for Ingrid Klimke with Vayron showing some colic symptomes and therefore not at start. They were for sure serious contenders for a medal, but as we already know the big boy Vayron can be sensitive.
