AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF THE CDIO 5* - A LOOK BACK AT THE DAY'S OTHER COMPETITIONS

Press release - FONTAINEBLEAU - PRINTEMPS DES SPORTS ÉQUESTRES

First place for Evelyn Eger in the Grand Prix Spécial Devoucoux of the CDI3* competition.
At the start of the day, Germany's Evelyn Eger won the Grand Prix Spécial of the CDI3* event sponsored by Devoucoux. Riding Global Power OLD, she performed the only routine to score over 70% in this class, achieving 70.340%. "I am so lucky to have such a great horse, I am absolutely thrilled. Especially as this was the first time we have competed in a CDI3* event together, and only his second Grand Prix and first Grand Prix Spécial class. So, I'm more than happy, in fact. When we get home, he'll be taking a few days off, with plenty of paddock time. Then, we'll get back to training and look for another competition to keep him sharp. I really enjoyed the Printemps des Sports Équestres here in Fontainebleau. I wasn't expecting such an amazing competition! So, I hope I'll be able to come back! I particularly liked the arena, it was like a mini Paris 2024 and it was a real honour to compete here," said the German ride as she left the arena.

In the Grand Prix Freestyle of the CDI3* competition, victory went to the Netherlands
This evening, Dominique Filion posted the best performance in the Grand Prix Freestyle of the CDI3*competition, sponsored by the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Fontainebleau, thanks to an excellent routine with Kha Diva Corieta Texel and a score of 73.945%. "Just being here is an incredible opportunity, so winning here is the icing on the cake! Today, we presented the first freestyle routine created especially for Kha Diva. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting to win. I've never been to Fontainebleau before and it's incredible. Everyone is so positive, happy and kind. We feel really supported by everyone, the staff, the public and the riders. It's really cool!" said the delighted Dutch rider after the prize-giving ceremony.
