When World Cup Herning opens its doors from 14 to 18 October for five days of international equestrian sport, it will feature an extensive sporting programme, record participation and major news on the sponsorship front.
Once again, World Cup Herning will mark the start of a new season in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Western European League. The world’s leading dressage riders will meet in Herning on 14–18 October, while the overall event will also feature international showjumping classes, youth competitions and classes for pony riders, young talents and established top-level athletes, as well as the final of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Dressage Championship for Young Horses.
With up to 1,000 participating horses, World Cup Herning 2026 is set to become one of Europe’s largest international equestrian events of the year – and the largest World Cup event ever held in Denmark.
Palm Beach Motor Yachts becomes new title sponsor
World Cup Herning is also pleased to announce Palm Beach Motor Yachts as its new title sponsor for 2026.
The company has Australian roots and its international headquarters in Florida. It produces luxury motor yachts with a focus on design, technology, performance and quality. During 2026, Palm Beach Motor Yachts has expanded its involvement in international equestrian sport and is, among other things, a partner of the international four-star dressage competition at the Longines Global Champions Tour Vienna – and now also of World Cup Herning.

Five days of world-class equestrian sport
World Cup Herning takes place over six days across several arenas at MCH Messecenter Herning and Jyske Bank Boxen.
The dressage programme includes the FEI Dressage World Cup™, CDI3*, CDI1* and the Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour CDIU25**. This provides an opportunity to experience both some of the world’s leading dressage riders and the international stars of tomorrow.
The showjumping programme includes CSI3*, CSI1* and CSIU25** competitions. On Saturday evening, the Stutteri Ask Grand Prix and the FEI Jumping Ponies’ Trophy will be among the absolute highlights. The programme also features the European Youngster Cup for U25 riders, as well as international classes for Young Riders, Children and pony riders.
The youngest riders will also play a central role at the event, with pony classes forming part of both the Baltic Cup Finals and the Nord-Vest Box Final.
World Cup Herning is therefore much more than a single World Cup competition. It is six days during which the elite and grassroots levels of national and international equestrian sport come together in Herning.
An international meeting point

The countdown has begun
With only a few weeks remaining until the event begins, preparations are in full swing in Herning.
Over the coming weeks, World Cup Herning will gradually announce the names of more of the riders and horses travelling to Denmark in week 42.
The stage is set for six days of World Cup dressage, international sport, young talents, global stars and one of the largest equestrian events of the year on Danish soil.
