One super top star among the collection of 27 foals

No 21 Napoleon by Geniaal – Santano | 10-05-2018 • Bay • Stallion

Napoléon M possesses an imperial appearance with superior type, abundant presence and textbook movement. His powerful carriage and excellent front leg are exemplary, which is no surprise given his bloodlines. His dam scored 85 points for movement, 80 for conformation and passed the IBOP with 79 points. Napoléon M’s granddam Uganita M showed her talent in the ability test, scoring a 9.5 for her trot; and his great-granddam Haganitas is the dam of multiple good dressage horses and the granddam of the Grand Prix dressage horse Wonder DTS. The Grand Prix stallions Jazz and Darwin strengthen Napoléon M’s pedigree on his dam’s side; and through his sire Geniaal, this pedigree includes the stallions Biotop and Ferro. A horse with beautiful conformation, Geniaal is by the top sire Vivaldi. In his first year at stud, Geniaal sired the National Foal Champion.

VIDEO - En fantastisk "dansker dag" i Falsterbo

VIDEO - 80,511% Grand Prix Special victory today at Hartpury for Charlotte Dujardin with MSJ Freestyle

Screen Shot 2018-07-08 at 16.06.56.png

Charlotte Dujardin just have THE position when performing a test. The overall picture of harmony and correctness is in a league of its own, also when comparing the Queen of dressage Isabell Werth, and this weekends big winner at Leudelange LUX Steffen Peters with his two lovely top horses Suppenkasper and Rosamunde.

For today's test the marks must have been including some serious 10´s for both extensions and passage tours, nice walk tour, good 1st piaffe, while the next two piaffe tours are with small unbalanced tensions. Strong canter tour with super nice series, small lack of balance for first pirouette and second pirouette slight overturned. But again the overall picture is just left with so much power, control and suppleness, and therefore also with space for small things keeping them away for 85% victory.

Carl Hester and Hawtins Delicato showed a very controlled, well balanced and expressive test except for today's series where they were struggling with some errors. 77,298%.

Henriette Andersen and Flavio came 3rd today with a very nicely balanced test. 70,957%.

Unfortunately we did not get the name af the commentator at Clipmyhorse for the Grand Prix Special - for sure a highly knowledgeable lady with superb comments during the tests.

Daley Thompson and Ann-Christin Wienkamp are ready for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final

Screen Shot 2018-07-08 at 16.11.38.png

Daley Thompson (Damon Hill x Lauries Crusador xx) and Ann-Christin Wienkamp won today's qualifier with 72,78%.

Today every single ride was commented by Mr. Christoph Hess. This just makes the picture more complete having his sharp eyes and enthusiastic comments from the ground.

Daley Thompson is super well moving in all 3 gaits, and one of the comments from Mr. Hess was "mehr geht nicht" which was for the extraordinary walk, and at the same time he asked Ann-Christin to pick up the rein again also to demonstrate the top quality when she is asking for more collection.

1. kvalifikation flot i hus

VM for Danmark.

In order to qualify for participation at the 2018 FEI World Dressage Championships, Athletes and Horses must have attained (as a combination) a result of at least 66% attributed by the Ground Jury and by any two different FEI 5* Dressage Judges, of a nationality other than that of the Athlete, in a Grand Prix at two different CDI3*/4*/5*/CDI-W or CDIO events during the qualification period. (until 13 August, FEI)

Se resultatet af hele klassen her.

Dujardin and MSJ Freestyle winner of CDI3 Grand Prix at Hartpury with 77,435%

hart.jpg

Again Dujardin showed her strength together with the young mare MSJ Freestyle

Power balanced trot tour with super expression, lacking balance for the 1st piaffe tour with just a few balanced steps, super walk tour, 2nd piaffe with better balance lack bit more clear transition from piaffe to passage, small error for 2 times, error at change by X between two good pirouettes, small stop before final piaffe, but continues with very nice steps, super final passage and halt.

2nd is Carl Hester with Hawtins Delicato nice well balanced trot tour, tensions for the 1st piaffe tours, as it looks like he goes into the piaffe with a bit to much pressure and becomes to quick in the rhythm and loosing the balance and stops, much better 2nd piaffe tour with good transitions and nice passage, good canter tour just a small tension for the 2nd pirouette which becomes slightly over turned, bit cautious final piaffe. Score 76,087%

It was a come back for Olympic combination Spencer Wilton with Super Nova II as we haven't seen them at the international scene since September 2017 at Damstadt-Kranichstein. The entire test is shown very conservative, as this combination is use to show a lot of power all the way. A clear test with just a couple of extra changes between the pirouettes. 75,848%

Even though the scoring today shows that they are back, and it still not too late for the battle for a team spot for WEG, it looks like a bit of a challenge to get rid of either Gareth Hughes or Emile Faurie, which both has been very consistent, with fit horses and with good scores lately.

Glamourdale and Charlotte Fry from today's test at Leudelange LUX

Today's convincing winner of the 7 year old preliminary test at Leudelange LUX with at total score of 76,250% for the test, and 90% for the gaits and perspective was KWPN stallion Glamourdale with British Charlotte Fry in the saddle.

Trot 9.2 - Walk 7.9 - Canter 9.7 - Submission 8.9 - Perspective 9.3

They are for sure ready for WCYH in Ermelo representing Great Britain.
