VIDEO - Another exclusive ticket for Isabel Freese for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final - this time with HANN stallion Fürsten-Look

Fürsten-Look and Isabel Freese - photo credit: H2R

Today Isabel Freese and 9 year old HANN stallion Fürsten-Look ones again showed their strenght and won the 1st qualifier for Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final in Herbergen, Essen today with 74,585%.

Even more sharp today over all, super flow and power from letter to letter in a very nice harmony all the way. They really suit each other, as Freese obvious enjoy the way of attacking each exercise when she has a horse like Fürsten-Look, as he just plays along all the way.

Today the judges totally agreed about the winner!

In general the performances today were shown with more quality than for the “warm-up” test.

Australian Simone Pearce have had a very busy weekend so far with nearly starts in all classes on “home soil” at Sprehe, the host of the event this weekend. For the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal she brought another black well moving stallion Montevideo by Millennium / Sancisco, a pretty short partnership, but very well presented by Simone, and most of all she managed to improve her ride from yesterday, with among other much better timing for the transitions from halt to trot. They finish as no 5 in today’s test.

Here you find the entire results.

Patrik Kittel takes both 1st and 2nd place today at national German event in Herbergen

IMG_2993.jpg

32 starters in today’s national Inter II at Herbergen, Essen

The huge field was also counting international top riders like Isabell Werth, Patrik Kittel, Therese Nilshagen, Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and Annabel Balkenhol.

Kittel was at start with two horses the 13 year old stallion Rocky Lee (sire of World Champion Revolution) and 9 year old 9 year old Amplemento by Ampere.

Smooth and effortless tests

It was competition debut together with Rocky Lee, and they showed an easy test without any technical issues, the passage and piaffe tours were just lacking a bit more power and expression.

With the young Amplemento Kittel made his debut back in December at national event in Ankum with victory in both Inter I and Inter II, and today they just succeeded with another winning performance. Super smooth and relaxed test, in a super steady round and beautiful uphill frame all the way. No exercise wise difficulties, and all the way with smooth nice overview for the young GP horse.

Werth and Nilshagen

Both Werth and Nilshagen had some challenges today. Werth was at start with Fairmont 11 year old gelding, which seemed not 100% balanced all the way and missing a bit more clear stable contact. Nilshagen was at start with the highly frequented stallion For Romance OLD, and they showed a bit conservative test, and For Romance lacking a bit more clear accept of the contact, but without any technical issues.

Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, a bit like Isabel Freese´s competition

Isabel Freese and the 9 year old HANN stallion Fürsten-Look by Fürstenball / Londonderry, bred by Johannes Sabel and co-owned by HP Horses and Schockemöhle showed a strong winner test today. Freese was also at start with the 8 year old OLD stallion Top Gear by Totilas / Don Frederico, owned by Schockemöhle. They were placed 3rd.

Both test were very accurate and powerful performed, and it is obvious that Isabel Freese with her great experience is able to collected valuable points all the way. Fürsten-Look is a stallion with 3 huge supple paces, and it is kind of challenge to keep it all together, but Freese shows him with super timing and power all the way, she clearly knows where to give and where to take. Lovely frame, super power for extensions, supple half passes, very good walk tour, unfortunately Fürsten-Look lost the balance and rhythm for the 2nd walk pirouette, and showed some tensions for the rein back at the final centerline. Very nice performed canter pirouettes where Fürsten-Look shows huge ability to collected and sit, and also very nice series.

They definitely look like the ones to beat for the final qualification Friday evening, even though there was huge judging disagreement today.

Freese has become kind of Mrs. Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, as she is previous winner with both Vitalis in 2016 and last year with Total Hope OLD, both stallions also co-owned by HP Horses and Schockemöhle.

Here you find the full results from today.

Helgstrand and Zibrasport Equest in a new partnership

IMG_5421.jpeg

PRESS RELEASE AT HELGSTRAND DRESSAGE

With a common vision to create the world’s leading digital equestrian community, Helgstrand and Zibrasport have signed a cooperation that secures Helgstrand a 10% ownership of Zibrasport Equest. The community that live streams from some of the largest equestrian events and creates inspiring video content, articles and lots more is in enormous development. The ambition of the partnership is to create new digital solutions to the equestrian world and new ways to engage the community and then of course the opportunity to invite people behind the scenes in one of the world’s leading equestrian companies – Helgstrand.

Up close in the equestrian world

Zibrasport Equest has been streaming equestrian events in Denmark since 2016 and in December 2019 the company expanded to become an equestrian community – zibrasportequest.com. The ambition is to create a community with a broad variety of relevant content that gives the equestrian world the opportunity to engage themselves and become inspired to even more engagement in their sport. The opportunity to come closer and think in new ways are also part of the ambitions that Helgstrand has for the future.

- We have been ambitious from the start and has created an internationally leading company in the equestrian world. To secure our ongoing growth, we have a strong wish to become more visible and create more openness about our company and the equestrian world in general and therefore we have chosen to invest in Zibrasport. The community is built on a business model with international potential, where we both can invite customers and equestrians into our facilities and to events and be a part of focusing on the equestrian world and developing new and innovative solutions, the CEO of Helgstrand, Andreas Helgstrand says.

Innovation and engagement

It is not only from the saddle that you can engage yourself in the equestrian sport. That is the philosophy of Zibrasport Equest, where you already at this stage can find numerous videos from the largest events, get closer to the leading profiles and riders and find inspiration and be fascinated from the variety of the equestrian sport. The community has an ongoing development and believes that the best development is created together with the users.

- A community is created by both the users themselves and their engagement and from the editorial content. We are constantly thinking out of the box and are not afraid to explore new and creative ways. Therefore, it is also a very good reason that we are teaming up with an innovative partner such as Helgstrand to create the worlds best and most innovative equestrian community. We share the ambition to create a healthy company and the passion to create something that strengthen and develop the equestrian sport. In fact, we are already in the middle of creating our next digital solution together with Helgstrand, says Niels Zibrandtsen, the chairman and owner of Zibrasport.

An independent community

Zibrasport Equest is still an independent community that offers content and streaming from every corner of the equestrian world. The corporation will offer unique insight into Helgstrand, such as streaming from the events at Helgstrand and lots of quality content, that is produced in cooperation with the staff in Northern Jutland and Wellington.

- Zibrasport Equest is a community where you always can find inspiration and insight - no matter your interests in the equestrian world or which inspiration you seek. The community must be created in cooperation with riders, equestrians, partners and federations across the equestrian sport and therefore the cooperation with Helgstrand does not exclude cooperation with others – on the contrary. Helgstrand shares the ambition to create value for the equestrian sport and find new collaborations to develop new and innovative solutions and therefore we believe that together we can create a strong and engaging community. It is also fantastic that we can invite the users into the world of Helgstrand because we know that the interest is enormous, says Rikke Højgaard, editor in chief at Zibrasport Equest.

A strong partnership

It is two strong and innovative partners that stands behind Zibrasport Equest. The digital media was established in 2016 under Zibra A/S, that has the entrepreneur Niels Zibrandtsen in the lead. Zibrandtsen established the company GlobalConnect, which he sold in 2016, and after this he dedicated himself to invest in and develop new startup companies.

Helgstrand was established in 2008 by Andreas Helgstrand, medalist from both the Olympics and World Championships. Since the establishment the company in Northern Jutland has evolved rapidly. It went so well that the Dutch investment fund Waterland Private Equity bought the majority part of the company in 2018. Helgstrand buys and train dressage horses to sell all over the world and the company now has divisions in both Germany and in Wellington, Florida.

Top prices at 1st Online Van Olst Sales riding horses auction

Successful 1st edition of Van Olst Sales Online auction of riding horses

The first online auction at Van Olst Sales just ended with the top price of 67.500 euro for the 4 year old gelding by Grand Prix sire Everdale.

The charming grey 3 year old stallion by Glamourdale was sold for 2nd highest price 62.500 euro.

“We are very happy with the results, and looking very much forward to follow our young talented horses with the new owners. The situation about the coronavirus did not make it possible for us this year to combine our stallion show with the auction, and of course it’s been really exciting to prepare for the auction and also do some online updates during the auction. We have sold 9 of the 10 young horses” tells a very satisfied Gertjan van Olst.

Werth and Werndl in top of today's national Grand Prix Special in Hagen

Back in business

The scenery was top international like the starter field, but due to the coronavirus situation it was only a national event this weekend at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen.

Today Benjamin Werndl and Daily Mirror “lost” the victory to Werth and Emilio as they lost some valuable marks for their not so fluent piaffe tours, otherwise a test with super flow and power all the way. Today Famoso was clearly more obedient all the way without any issues.

Nice to see the former double World Champion for young horses Sa Coeur at Grand Prix level together with Frederic Wandres. Smooth overall test except struggling with the rhythm and balance for the piaffe tours and the transitions in and out from piaffe.

VIDEO - First two strong combinations ready for Louisdor Preis final

Placed 1 and 2 ready for the final

From the “warm-up” Inter II yesterday the picture looked pretty clear, and both combinations, Hubertus Schmidt with Denoix and Holga Finken with Gino did also show strong performances, and both very experienced riders were very happy about their young GP horses.

More attraktive young horses just lacking more experience, especially Silberstern with Annabel Frenzen showed great qualities like also Bonheur de la Vie with Sandra Nuxoll will be some of the young once to keep an eye on.

Click at the photo here below to watch the test from Denoix og Hubertus Schmidt.
