OLD press release - Noble Champion Stallion

Small field for today’s OLD saddle licensing
From watching both the stallion video presentations and today’s licensing, today’s champion stallion made a great picture by first hand, but already from the video presentation you could see that the stallion clearly became very wide behind for more moments, this fact was also clearly shown by today´s presentation at hard surface and under the rider, but did not seem to be considered as an issue for today´s Champion title. The canter itself was huge but lacking more balance, and it was obvious that the quality improved a lot when test rider chose to stand up in the canter.
Today’s most well balanced and well moving stallion for the licensing was from H2R point of view no 48 by For Romance I / Rock Forever.
Test rider Charlott-Maria Schürmann did a great job, with Oliver Oelrich doing the guidance from the ground, as every single stallion clearly became better during the very short testing.
OLD PRESS RELEASE
The stunning Champion Stallion of the 10th Oldenburg Saddle Licensing was the strong moving Splendid by San Amour I out of N-Infinity by Dream Boy - Friedensfürst/T., bred by Rob Zandvoort from Belgium, and owned by Rlz Bvba, Belgium. "A majestic appearance when he enters the ring: black, very swinging and long-legged with a lot of shoulder freedom and good mechanics. We expect a lot from this stallion for the upper dressage sport, who is equipped with the necessary sensitivity and the right attitude," Oldenburg's licensing commissioner Bernhard Thoben described the winner. The test rider Charlott-Maria Schürmann enthused: "The feeling is mega, I have never ridden such a great stallion before". The exceptional talent with his noble bloodlines comes from a successful dressage dam line: Dam N-Infinity was already successful at advanced level at the age of seven. Granddam Fatinitza was a Grand Prix winner under Tatyana Makarova, RUS. Out of the dam line: European Champion Rendezvous under Michael Klimke. The stallion is for sale in the Online Auction.

Patrik Kittel conquers Wickrath this weekend
Touchdown and Patrik Kittel - photo @clipmyhorse
Three young Grand Prix horses with top performances at national event at Wickrath
Wickrath was ready with a small event with just 5 classes this weekend. And for international rider Patrik Kittel it was a really nice way to test his young upcoming stars after very long time just training at home.
Saturday was debut at Intermediaire II level for Swedish bred 9 year old Touchdown by Quaterback / Sack with impressive 79,386%. No exercise weaknesses and a very attractive side picture all the way. Still lacking more strength for the passage and transitions, but for sure a natural talent for piaffe with a very lovely sit and balance.
Sunday with first and second in Short Grand Prix
Back in March 2020 Patrik Kittel purchased the now 9 year old mare Forever Young HRH by Fürst Fugger / from Caroline Burema. Burema has successfully competed the mare at small tour level. Power off the ground with lot of quality all the way, still a bit green for the piaffe tours at the spot. Immediate impression - the modern and better mover edition of Weihegold OLD. Forever Young is co-owned by Arlette Jasper (owner of Sezuan). 78,023%
2nd placed today also Kittel. This time with 11 year old stallion Bonamour by Bonifatius / Rousseau owned by Helgstrand Dressage. Also here with overall very nice qualities with big quality series and expressive piaffe. 76.550%.
Here you find the entire results.
