Never underestimate Isabell Werth
Final test of the Dutch team candidates before the Olympics at CHIO Rotterdam this weekend. And with 4 solid performances the Dutch team brought themselves into leading position for the team competitions, but the individual winner today was a Germany´s Isabell Werth with her 16 year old Weihegold OLD.
Today’s performance from Werth was really strong and also for the not so flashy parts the trot extensions and half passes Werth showed Weihegold in the best way by keeping her maximum balance and expression.

The favorite today at home soil Edward Gal with Glock´s Toto US showed a nice balanced test, but unfortunately with some extra flying changes today.

Hermes / Dijna van Liere - Super halt, good balance for diagonal, lack bit more uphill half pass right, nice balance uphill left, good halt with rein back, good into passage, bit tense hind passage, active at the spot piaffe, nice transitions, super relaxed extended walk, good collected walk, nice 2nd piaffe with good transitions, tiny tension into canter, good 2 times, good extended canter, nice bending bit tension but well managed, super nice 1 times, good pirouettes with bending and sit, super diagonal, very nice and active final centerline, open halt. THEY are definitely also ready for the Olympics.
For the clear reserve combination for the Olympics Marlies van Baalen and Go Legend shows another strong and consistent performance today.
Saturday the team competition will be completed with Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix freestyle.
