The three Danish combinations with top performances

The event at Compiegne with final stage for the Danish team before selection for the Olympics, and therefore today’s CDIO5 was also a test of the strongest Danish combinations. And all 3 combinations showed great form with top placements - the absolute best starting point for the final selection.

77% personal best performance from Danish Warmblood mare Heiline´s Danciera by Fürstenball / De Niro and Carina Cassøe Krüth. They just cemented their strength, quality and not least top form towards the final Olympic selection. After a very strong trot tour and trending 78% they kept the high qualities with just a small issue for the two times. This is for sure a +80% combination for the future.

Placed 3rd today with 76,500% Bohemian and Cathrine Dufour. From the sideline one more top performance from Dufour, unfortunately with two costly issues the first pirouette with tiny lost of balance at the final canter stride and then a clearly miscommunication for the piaffe at the final centerline where Bohemian stop as if it was final halt and Dufour needs to ask for the piaffe a couple of times before he starts and they finish with a good passage towards final halt. “He has been a bit of a challenge here in France, so I knew he could be hot in the arena today, but I’m still very pleased about our performance today,” tells Cathrine Dufour.

Placed 6th with 73,435% Charlotte Heering with Bufranco. Super smooth test, lovely harmony and still more in the tank for the piaffe and passage tours.

From H2R point of view Cassøe, Dufour and Heering are the team for Tokyo with Merrald & Zack as travelling reserves.

The Danish combinations are after the Grand Prix now in the lead of the team competition.

Tomorrow Dufour and Cassøe are doing the Grand Prix Special while Heering is doing the freestyle.

The Swedish team

Patrik Kittel and Well Done de la Roche showed their absolute best ever piaffe / passage tours with super transitions and a very strong canter tour. Super development.

Buriel K.H. with Juliette Ramel showed a strong performance and nice with a clearly more relaxed overall picture, and with Buriel piaffe/passage trademark.

Brother de Jeu with Antonia Ramel also with a strong and well managed performance.

Charlotte Fry is ready for the Olympics

The consistancy and top performances again this week makes Lottie a clear team member for the British team for the Olympics. Today Dark Legend got spooky at the first diagonal and jumped into canter and a small mistake crept into mid of 2 times. They finished 5th.
