Danish Warmblood Tørveslettens Titanium RS2 winner of CDI-W Grand Prix Mechelen with Personal Best score with 75,978%

Tørveslettens Titanium RS2 and Marieke van der Putten nailed it today and kept the strong competitors behind. The performance was very accurate without any technical issues and today with superb piaffe and passage tours, super transitions at the letters. For the pirouettes you could wish for a bit more control and only a tiny lack of balance for the final trot diagonal. Personal Best performance 75,978%. (74,565%)

Said that the judges were nothing else but at the same line about todays class. The placements for the winner was 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 - 1, while 2nd placed Everdale with Charlotte Fry was placed 3 - 1 - 2 - 5 - 3.

Everdale and Charlotte Fry showed a strong trot tour for the extensions he becomes bit to high and short in the neck, nice and easy first passage/piaffe/passage tour, bit tense walk tour, 2nd piaffe/passage smooth, super 2 times, nice zigzag, super 1 times, nice pirouettes, smooth into trot and nice diagonal - still trending for the winner score, but the final centerline unfortunately made the difference from winner to 2nd position. Starting the final passage tour in very nice quality but towards X Everdale seems to have the opinion of the final halt and Lottie had to remind him to finish the job.

Hermes entered with kind of big eyes but nevertheless Dinja managed to keep him in line but still with some minor hiccups during their test, but very strong performance from Dinja she showed her stallion the way in both a strong but at the same time also very smooth way.

Blue Hors St. Schufro with Nanna Merrald showed an overall strong performance with a few minor hiccups. For the entering halt St. Schufro makes two steps of trot into the halt. Super light footed and expressive trot tour, nice contact and frame all the way, nice halt with rein back, into the first piaffe he becomes a bit hind the aides and lacking some for forward search for the piaffe itself, 2nd much better and without any issues, strong canter tour without any technical issues with very nice pirouettes.

Comments from Nanna Merrald after today´s test: “I think we showed a very nice test with room for improvement. The entering halt became expensive, bit hind my aides for the first piaffe tour, and extended walk tour where he could show bit more forward search. I was very happy about our canter tour.”

Quel Filou OLD and Anna Zibrandtsen made a very nice World Cup debut today. Super expressive start, well balanced half passes, lost of balance for trot extension at short diagonal and missing a more clear transition to passage at V, passage towards 1st piaffe tour becomes somewhat unbalanced, nice piaffe with good angle, good walk tour, becomes bit short hind for a single change for two times, small unbalance from extended canter toward flying change, quality pirouettes but could be executed a bit more clear at the end. Overall still missing bit more strength for the passage tours to get the constant clear steps from behind. (Placed 12th with 69,913%).

Comments from Anna Zibrandtsen after today´s test: “I´m happy about our test today and also very pleased about our positive development together.”
