Use public transportation

We recommend you to use public transportation as there will be very hard to find parking spaces in central Gothenburg during the Championships week.

Family fun at Heden Arena

Heden Arena is more than a competition venue, it’s also a large exhibition area. Welcome to Heden Shopping Village by EuroHorse, where you’ll be able to find more or less everything related to equestrian sports and beyond. Among the 100 exhibitors you will also find the official European Championship Merchandise collection by H&M at their pop-up store.

There will be a busy paddock program with a number of horse shows as well as a stage with public lectures, and fun activities to try for the whole family. The paddock program includes shows from different breeds, Gymkhana, Western, Agility and more. Also, you’ll be able to try riding, free of charge, every day. When you’re at the paddock, make sure you stop by the Championship mascot, mini Shetland pony Anton and his pony friend Vinnie from ATG.

Environmentally certified

The European Championships is environmentally certified according to the Swedish Environmental Base standard. This means that we shall implement a large number of actions to reduce negative impact on the environment and be socially responsible. This also means that we urge our partners to act in a sustainable way.

Welcome to the equestrian event of the century in August!
