Corinna and Lone Jørgensen - private photo
Busy and exciting new life
Back in 2012 former Olympic Danish team rider Lone Jørgensen, her husband Uli Eggers and their daughter Monica moved to Australia.
During the years Lone has been building up a real solid business teaching some of the dressage entusiast in Australia. Among some of her clients is Pauline Carnovale, she has more talented horses and is riding Grand Prix herself.
The Danish Warmblood mare Corinna by Crelido / Loran born 2007 bred by Stutteri Hove, Gitte Søgaard and Poul Hove, Denmark, was purchased by Pauline and her husband Frank Carnovale about 4-5 years ago in The Netherlands. Pauline herself has been successful at small tour level with Corinna, but the further step for Grand Prix with Corinna was not quite obvious, and therefore Lone got the possibility to train Corinna.
As Lone tells, its been a challenging journey, but after 10 month both the piaffe and one times is getting there, and Lone is happy being back in business with a horse showing huge potential and qualities for the future, and she is of course very thankful to Pauline and Frank for giving her this opportunity. This weekend they just made their debut at national Intermediaire II level with 72,3% and 73,8%. Newt step ii national Grand Prix in June.
Here you find an article H2R made back in Dec 2015 about Lone Jørgensen and the move to Australia (in Danish).

HESSELHØJ DONKEY BOY
We are proud to present Hesselhøj Donkey Boy in our stallion collection again in 2019. However, this will be his last year on chilled semen. This top modern stallion possesses everything; beauty, style and extremely supple movements in all three gaits. At the Danish Warmblood 10-day-test and performance test, he won convincingly with 900 points for his gaits and a total score of 889.5 points. His unique victories continued in 2017 as he won his first start at L-level with an overwhelming 82,58%. At the 5-year Championship, he won the qualifier with the score of 97,2 points and continued the success in the finals with 99,6 points, where he was awarded 9,8 for trot, 10 for walk, 10 for canter, 10 for rideability and 10 for capacity. At the World Championships for young Horses in Ermelo, he was rewarded with 9,64 points in the qualifier and became second, and won Bronze in the finals with the score 9,1.
Again in 2018, he won the 6-year old Championship, as well as the qualifier with high scores and was in the finals at the Young Horses World Championships in Ermelo.
The sire, ERA Dancing Hit was rewarded the Champion Stallion-title. The dam line of Hesselhøj Donkey Boy consists of some of the best in Danish breeding with five elite broodmares in a row, where the dam, Søbakkehus Kamilja, is an advanced level dressage horse. The grand sire, Milan, was also appointed champion stallion. This fantastic dam line originates from the Hannoverian mare, Amuratha, born in 1926 and later exported to Sweden, where she was the founding mare of the Swedish dam line 36. Through this dam line, Hesselhøj Donkey Boy also includes the famous, Swedish Gaspari blood, as well as the well-known Drumhead xx blood. The foals sired by Donkey Boy, have fully satisfied all our expectations. Out of Donkey Boy’s first crop, six foals were selected for the Elite Show and thus almost half of the entire collection, and again in 2017, he sired the “Colt of the Year “Svalegårds Hot Boy”, owned by Hestengen Dressage. In 2019, he is the sire of not less than five sons for the Stallion Grading In Herning.
Hesselhøj Donkey Boy is WFFS negative.
DUKE
Duke was licensed in Hannover 2018 and appointed Premium Stallion. During the licensing, he was referred to as the most classic and complete stallion of the entire collection. We immediately spotted the stallion and fortunate that Norwegian Kristin Andresen bought the stallion afterwards at the auction.
Duke is a complete dressage stallion. His conformation is ideal with a long supple topline, correct neck and shoulder and a beautiful head.
Duke is leggy, modern and even though he has lots of body, he is still very elegant. Duke has strong and very correct limbs with very good and well-shaped hooves. He possesses three good and elastic gaits with lots of suppleness, together with lots of power. His pedigree is unique. He is out of the Hanoverian damline 3193405, which has produced several top horses in dressage as well as in jumping.
Dimaggio, the sire of Duke, died in 2015. Dimaggio won The Young Horse World Championships for 5-year old dressage horses in Arnhem in 2000. Later, he had several victories and placements in Intermediare. Dimaggio is however best known as the sire of an endless row of top dressage horses at Grand Prix level. Great rideability characterizes this stallion line.
We are looking forward to using this young stallion for breeding and expect him to add type, gaits and especially great rideability.
Duke is WFFS negative.
DE L´OR
De l’Or is an extremely elegant stallion with three high quality gaits. He has the perfect character; nice and calm when handled, and with good energy and work ethic under the rider.
He was the absolute favorite of the audience at the licensing in Verden in 2011, where he was appointed Premium Stallion. At his test in Schlieckau 2013, he scored 8,4 points in dressage.
De l’Or is out of very strong performance bloodlines with Dancier – Rotspon – Argentan proving to be strong combinations in the sport.
We are thrilled that the breeders have welcomed him so warmly, and we are satisfied with the fantastic quality of the offspring in Denmark and Germany among which are several licensed sons.
De l´Or is WFFS Negative.

Se de foreløbige deltagerlister her: http://aalborgdressageevent.dk/DK/Rytter/Startlister(x0x)Tidsplan.aspx
A strong field of very nice young horses for Mannheim qualifier
First qualifier for 2019 Nürnberger Burg-Pokal final was in Hagen, and seen from the overall quality of the horses, the Mannheim field was much wider with some really nice young horses showing great qualities all the way, in Hagen Vayron was the only real outstanding horse.
From the “preliminary” Prix Sct. Georg Special it was just the 12 best combinations qualified for today’s final qualifier, and Matthias Bouten kept the winner position also for today’s test with the 9 year old Trakehner stallion Meggle´s Grimani by Gribaldi / Monteverdi.
Meggle´s Grimani/Matthias Bouten - nice halt, nice balanced medium trot, nice flow/go for half passes, nice diagonal extended trot, super transition to walk, marching walk, super collected walk, lack 1 step for 1st walk pirouette, 2nd good, good transition to canter, huge sit for pirouette one canter step with parallel hind, 2nd superb, full risk long side, 4 times tension, ok 3 times, superb extended canter small issue transition to collected canter before change, good halt with rein back. 74,390%
JUST LOOK AT THE RIDERS HANDS STEADY AND SOFT ALL THE WAY 👌🏻
Dorothee Schneider will for sure get her ticket(s) later
Both Dorothee Schneider and Thomas Wagner were showing two horses each for this qualifier.
No doubt that Dorothee will be ready with her two super young stallions Lord Fittipaldi M by Lord Loxley / Fidermark and Fürst Magic by Fürstenball / Sir Donnerhall I for another qualifier.
Lord Fittipaldi M / Dorothee Schneider - small disturb halt, nice diagonal, nice flow for half passes, small unbalance diagonal extended trot, good transition to walk, lovely marching walk, nice walk pirouettes with super collected walk between, nice transition to canter, bit big canter pirouettes, nice canter half passes, nice big 4 times, super 3 times, bit unbalanced before centerline, nice halt with rein back.
Fürst Magic/Dorothee Schneider - nice halt, superb expression for diagonal, supple active half passes, nice extended trot, active extended walk, bit unbalance collected walk tour, bit hind aides for transition to canter, super nice canter pirouettes, smooth canter half passes, nice 4 times, super smooth 3 times, nice extended canter, nice halt with rein back, super final.
Also Thomas Wagner will for sure be ready with Soul Men by Soliman de Hus / Bentano II for a later qualifier.
Soul Men / Thomas Wagner - bit unbalanced halt, lovely expression for diagonal, super swing half passes, nice extended trot, nice transition to walk, big supple extended walk, super nice walk pirouettes, keep the quality for collected walk tour, nice transition to canter, nice collection/sit for both canter pirouettes, nice medium canter, becomes a bit hard in the contact out in the riders hands, good series, extended canter bit in the hand, tense halt with rein back.

Eneste man måske kunne ønske her er lidt mere vinkel i forbenene, bliver pt. lidt understillet i vinklen.
Du Soleil and Kristy Oatley - photo credit: H2R
New best Australien Grand Prix score today
Former best Australian GP score was by Lyndal Oatley with Sandro Boy back in 2015 at CDI-W Grand Prix in Stockholm with 72,800%, and today cousin Kristy took over with Du Soleil with 73,913%.
Even though the transitions out of piaffe still are lack some more fluency, there are so many strong qualities throughout the test.
Du Soleil AUS - good halt, superb diagonal, good half passes, good halt with rein back, super diagonal, nice transition to passage, very expressive passage, lacking bit clear transitions in and out of a nice active piaffe, good extended walk, bit tense collected walk tour, better into 2nd piaffe, nice piaffe and bit unbalanced out, good transition to canter, super nice two times over the full diagonal, nice extended canter, very nice balanced zigzag, good 1 times started a bit early, good control for pirouettes, super extended trot, super nice passage, good piaffe but lacking the balance out of the piaffe.
Morgan Barbancon and Bolero are just building up a real partnership in the arena, and see from the tensions before entering it looked a bit difficult, but Morgan just sticks to her plan and guiding Bolero step by step through the test. Unfortunately the Hungarian judge at H saw the Russian combination at 75% and Barbancon at just 68% - that fact kept Barbancon from the 2nd place today.
For H2R favorite Hans Peter Minderhoud and Zanardi it looked a bit like Zanardi was missing some of his power for today’s test.
Delgado with Beatrice Ferrer-Salat - photo credit: Lily Forado
18 year old and still at same level
This is true partnership and top management of a dressage horse at his “competition autumn” when Beatrice Ferrer-Salat is showing her 18 year old Delgado. He is top motivated and showing all his stuff with same qualities as ever.
Delgado ESP - power start, lack bit balance end of half pass right, left with good flow, good halt bit resistance for rein back, power diagonal, sharp transition to passage, super passage, easy transitions, good piaffe could show bit more off the ground, bit short extended walk, good collected walk, super transition at M to passage, super 2nd pa/pi/pa tour, good transition to canter, small disturb begin 2 times, good zigzag lack bit more bend, good 1 times, pirouettes lack more suppleness, power diagonal, sharp final centerline, superb halt.
Briolinca is not a big fan of steady halts. Lovely overall impression with lightness and power.
Classic Briolinca GBR - smooth trot tour, nice balance and power, not steady halt for rein back, super nice 1st passage/piaffe/passage with easy light transitions, good walk tour, nice active 2nd piaffe tour lovely sit with good transitions, good 2 times, change after extended canter small, good zigzag, small error end 1 times, bit unbalanced out 1st pirouette, 2nd pirouette nice quality, good transition to trot, super diagonal, smooth final centerline, very tense halt.
Ben Johnson one to keep an eye on. Nice controlled power picture with super qualities.
Ben Johnson / Van Baalen NED - nice halt, power diagonal in nice balance, super nice side picture, good rhythm/flow for half passes, bit tense rein back, nice diagonal, nice swinging passage, active piaffe at the spot, need more let go for extended walk, good collected walk, nice transitions to passage, good piaffe at the spot with good transition, good transition to canter, nice 2 times, nice extended canter, good zigzag, bit tense 1 times, good pirouettes, nice sharp final centerline.
Placed combinations today:
DSP Quantaz (2010) by Quaterback / Hohenstein, owner Victoria Max-Theurer
Werth won with Don Johnson today, and came also 2nd with a new international young horse
Today’s CDI4 Grand Prix at Mannheim started at 8:00 with first combination Isabell Werth with DSP Quantaz, a brand new combination for the international scene. Back at the beginning of the year they made their national Grand Prix debut at Ankum with 74%. DSP Quantaz is owned by Victoria Max-Theurer who is now trained by Werth. (VIDEO below)
Very exciting new international partnership
DSP Quantaz / Werth GER - good halt, nice diagonal with good balance and expression, well balanced half passes, nice halt with good rein back, nice diagonal with good transition to passage, smooth transitions and very nice easy piaffe off the ground in a nice bouncy rhythm, extended walk lack bit more let go over the back, bit tense collected walk, nice transition to passage, easy 2nd piaffe with super timing into and smooth out, good transition to canter, big 2 times bit tense, good extended canter, good zigzag, bit tense 1 times but good quality and clear pat on the neck from Werth, good canter for both pirouettes, could be a bit more centered, small issues end of extended trot, superb final - 9 YEAR OLD super horse.
May-Day Graftebjerg and Carina Cassøe Krüth
Danish Carina Cassøe Krüth and Danish Warmblood mare May-Day Graftebjerg with their best ever test (from H2R point of view), with just a small issues going into the 2nd piaffe. They are ready for tomorrow´s Grand Prix Special.
🇩🇰 May-Day Graftebjerg - super halt, super expressive extended trot with lovely balance, active half passes with nice bend, lack bit more clear halt for halt rein back, super extended trot, good transition to passage, bit tense hind, super easy piaffe with nice sit and good transitions, good walk tour, good transition to passage, small stop into 2nd piaffe but finds the rhythm and show good piaffe, tense hind for passage, nice 2 times, good extended canter, good zigzag small final change, good 1 times bit tension, nice balance and control 1st pirouette, ditto 2nd, good transition to trot, nice diagonal, nice final centerline.
