Hingst klar til DV´s forbesigtigelse?

DV logo.jpg

Spændende at følge udviklingen for ekvipagen.

British Spencer Wilton and Super Nova II winner of CDI4 Grand Prix Special today (video)

Skærmbillede 2017-09-24 kl. 17.24.40.png

76,47% victory for British Spencer Wilton and Super Nova II.

Lovely effortless test with just a small issue in the 2nd piaffe tour (like in the GP), super passage with lot of expression and bouncing off the ground for every single step. The trot extensions looked a bit conservative. Very strong canter tour with high quality all the way.

Swedish KIttel and his just 9 yr old mare Well Done de la Roche showed a very well performed test without an technical issues. Super light footed and a light contact, just waiting "to answer the next question" from her rider. 75,922% just speaks for itself - when the test still leaves room for improvement.

And of course Kittel is full of excitement himself "amazing - such a great horse", he stated right after his rid today.

Top foal from Klosterhof Medingen to Danish Anna Zibrandtsen and Danish Warmblood gelding most expensive riding horse

Yesterday´s auction at Klosterhof Medingen became ones again with Danish imprint

Danish international Grand Prix rider Anna Zibrandtsen who is a regular client at Kolsterhof Medingen auctions, purchased yesterday´s absolute to foal no. 25 Buster Keaton for 56.000 euros.

Most expensive riding horse became 6 yr old Danish Warmblood gelding Amazing Boy by Don Romantic / Michellino, bred by Stine Ahm & Filip Kristensen, Grinsted-Denmark, sold to the sponsor of Finland´s international Grand Prix rider Emma Kanerva for 250.000 euros.

Dorothee also took the CDI4 Grand Prix victory today (video)

Grand Prix for Grand Prix Special today at Kranichsteiner Hof

From the start list British Spencer Wilton and Super Nova were the sharpest card going in to today´s Grand Prix. From the "sideline" just two issues, by the 2nd piaffe where Super Nova not really feels in the mood for the exercise and becomes tense and making a small "levade", and the for the final extended trot he stumbles just before the transition to collected trot. Today´s score kept them on 3rd position.

2nd win today for Dorothee Schneider

This time with the mare Fohlenhof´s Rock´n Rose. Smooth supple test with out any issues. The passage could be shown with more clear suspension off the ground, but everything with nice contact, good flow and without tensions - well deserved winner with 74,320%.

Kittel with his next super star

Well Done de la Roche looks like a new super star for Swedish Kittel. The sensitive mare make a great picture together with Kittel. Still the over all picture need a bit more relaxation, but saying that, it looks all about experience for the young mare. Bit hurried picture for the extensions, where she still not really let go. Lovely easy light passage/piaffe/passage tours, where Kittel still not asking for the optimum piaffe steps, but manage to make it looks easy, effortless and not least without errors.

Danish national coach Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein was also at start with her still inexperienced M & M´s. And as she tells after her ride, she is really looking forward to the day where the big chestnut gelding will enjoy the atmosphere in the arena. They are showing lot´s of very nice things between a lot of tensions today.

See the results here.

Sezuan and Dorothee Schneider also sovereign at Intermediaire I today at Kranichsteiner Hof

Skærmbillede 2017-09-23 kl. 12.27.46.png

Top timing all the way

From the Prix Sct. Georg the placement at the top of the competition were set, but nothing is of course clear before the test has finished.

But again today Dorothee Schneider and her 8 yr old Danish Warmblood stallion Sezuan by Zack / Schufro were ready for the task. Fully focused about the job and his rider, the long legged stallion showed an active, supple high quality test. It is clear that even though he show big movements he is also showing abilities to collection and make his steps smaller. This picture you really see when watching the difficult transition from medium trot direct into collected walk, where Dorothee is able to do a smooth transition where Sezuan just shorten his steps, like they way she can prepare him going into the canter pirouettes.

It is still clear that Sezuan does not feel 100% comfortable doing the series yet, as they are shown with a bit of tensions. But Dorothee manage to make them clear without errors, and of course also with subsequent rewarding pat from Dorothee.

Blue Hors Zack and Daniel Bachmann Andersen well deserved winners

Skærmbillede 2017-09-22 kl. 21.40.41.png

Grand Prix freestyle in floodlight became a very successful Danish night at Kranichsteiner Hof

From the "sideline" it looked like a much more motivated combination as in the Grand Prix.

Zack was from the beginning more off the ground and with much more supple topline. Good choice of music with nice transitions. Nice lines with good trot half passes to passage half passes, good first passage/piaffe/passage tour. Bit tense transition into the walk, but nice relaxation for the walk tour. Good canter tour, extended canter into two good double pirouettes, and out from the first piroutte with nice two times, extended canter into the next double pirouette where Zack change the canter in the extension, but well managed double pirouette and out into nice one time tempies. Small issue at the final where Zack gets a bit stocked for the 2nd last piaffe tour, but recovers well with another nice piaffe/passage tour before the final.

Daniel Bachmann tells after his test that he feel very confident about the development of Zack, and that Zack just need some more experience, so he will be able to bring their daily training into the competitons too.

International CDI3 Grand Prix 75,500% victory for Adelinde Cornelissen and Aqiedo

Skærmbillede 2017-09-22 kl. 19.35.13.png

Double win for Adelinde Cornelissen today

The international event at Saumur is mainly the place for the national Young Horse Championships, but parallel to the Championships there are also CDI2 and CDI3 competitions.

The CDI2 Prix Sct. Georg was today won by Dutch Adelinde Cornelissen with her fullbrother of Parzival, Fleau de Baian, it was their international debut scoring 73,07%.

CDI3 Grand Prix

75.500% victory for Adelinde Cornelissen and the stallion Aqiedo with agreement from the entire judging team.

2nd was Michael Eilberg with Marakov (71,920%), while Danish Olympic combination Anders Dahl and Selten HW came 3rd (71,900%). Placed 4th was the exciting Lusitano mare Batuta, (best know under Portuguese rider Goncalo Carvalho) is now ridden by Spanish Sergio Martin Palos (71,740%). Again as no 5 was Anders Dahl with his 2nd horse Sir Donato (70,680%), and 6th place was again Adelinde Cornelissen with Zephyr (69,500%), while Danish combination Ulrik Mølgaard and Michigan also came 6th (69,500%).

Danish judge Jesper Holst Hansen who is judging some of the French Young Horses and ponies, was able to have a seat beside British judge at E, Mr. Andrew Gardner today. And Jesper Holst Hansen had of course a few comments about the top placements today.

"Adelinde Cornelissen showed a lovely test with nice uphill tendency, for some moments the neck became a bit too short.

Danish Anders Dahl was placed with both his horses. With Sir Donato Dahl showed a nice supple and smooth test in a good frame, unfortunately the walk became a bit unbalanced and therefore also expensive for the total score.

With his 2nd horse Selten HW Dahl showed a good test, where the first piaffe lacking some more energy and elevation, and comes a bit too much forward. The overall picture was clear developed since the Danish national Championships back in June.

Danish Ulrik Mølgaard and Michigan showed lovely extensions and half passes, while the energy and suspension is lacking a bit for the piaffe tours." tells Jesper Holst Hansen.

Son Sezuan and father Blue Hors Zack with victories today at Kranichsteiner Hof

Sezuan and Dorothee Schneider at today´s price givning

Sezuan and Dorothee Schneider at today´s price givning

Sezuan shines and raised the bar to +80% victory together with Dorothee Schneider

First Danish Warmblood stallion Sezuan took the victory in Prix Sct. Georg with German Dorothee Schneider in the saddle with an impressive score of 80,833%, ahead of another German couple Destiny OLD and Kristina Bröring-Sprehe scoring 77,456%.

From waching the entire class the scoreboard seems to be very hot for Destiny and Kristina, and as Dorothee and Sezuan were next to go the victory seems already gone. But there was a clear quality difference of the two combinations.

Dorothee Schneider is an outstanding rider, and her partnership with the big black stallion seems to develop from competition to competition. Super active trot tour, supple shoulder in, volte and half passes, good walk tour with good walk pirouettes, small tension from walk to canter, good canter pirouettes with good collection and nice self carriage, the change at C after the first pirouette becomes a bit tense. Super nice active series.

See the results here.

More Danish success

Today´s CDI4 Grand Prix with qualifier for Grand Prix freestyle was won by Danish rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen and KWPN stallion Blue Hors Zack, sire of Sezuan. They showed a nice start with good power, nice supple half passes with good crossing. Good into the first passage with slight lost of the clear passage rhythm, the first piaffe becomes a bit limited and forward, while the 2nd piaffe becomes with some tensions. An error in the 2 times series, bit unbalanced pirouettes, where Zack sits a bit too much. Final centerline also becomes with a bit too much forward piaffe. Victory score of 71.08%.

2nd Bernadette Brune and Spirit of the Age showed a solid test, although Spirit looked slightly with a kind of "summer body form", but still showing an obedient test and correct.

3rd is Danish based Australian Simone Pearce with Wladimir. For some moments a bit hurried picture, but Simone manage to show an errorfree test with good power.

Her ses fra h. Frida Måshammar Nordell, marketingmanager for Lantmännen/KRAFFT, Dansk Varmblods administrationschef Casper Cassøe Krüth, Sandra Hodik, administrere…

Her ses fra h. Frida Måshammar Nordell, marketingmanager for Lantmännen/KRAFFT, Dansk Varmblods administrationschef Casper Cassøe Krüth, Sandra Hodik, administrerende direktør for Lantmännen/KRAFFT, samt Jesper Bæk, KRAFFT Danmark.

OLD Elite auction 30 September

31 dressage horses and 31 dressage foal for the upcoming OLD Elite auction

From watching the entire video collection the quality of the foals seems to be at a very nice Elite level, even though you could wish for a bit wider Elite collection.

From the riding horses there are just a few nice prospects without showing the real top high Elite qualities, as the ones selected from H2R point of view still lacking the top x-factor and the real supple over the back walk.

From the foals H2R top favorites are all 5 foals below, but for sure the two colts by Sezuan and Danciano will make high prices. The filly by For Romance II is the most exclusive from the video presentation.

Back in May 2017 Atterupgaards Orthilia substained an injury, getting back from paddock time with a bad twisted fetlock, which kept her out for the rest of 2017.

Orthilia is now back under the saddle with her very happy rider Agnete Kirk Thinggaard.

Agnete just posted on Facebook: "Today I´ve been back in the saddle. We have about 4 month of rehabilitation, she is fresh and I´m very pleased starting up our rehabilitation program, even though it´s just 2 minutes of trot at the long side. We will be back in Spring 2018", stated Agnete Kirk Thinggaard.

Isabell Werth and Don Johnson beaten by Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Unee BB (video)

Werth and Don Don Johnson has been unstoppeable since November 2016 - no one has been able to stop their winning streak until yesterday.

From the Grand Prix Saturday at Donaueschingen the difference was just 36,5 point between Werth and Bredow-Werndl.

In the Special Werth looked a bit concervative from the beginning, with not so expressive 1st extended trot and a 1st half pass with not same power as seen before, but you never know what happens before the final halt is done. But into the first piaffe Werth and Don Johnson does not really agree about the conditions, and Don Johnson´s reaction is clear, he just just jumps around a the same spot without catching the piaffe. From the judges the marks are unfortunately not that clear for the missing piaffe, as it says 7 - 6,5 - 4 - 2 - 1 for this piaffe, and with subsequent scoring for transitions 1 - 1 - 4 - 3 - 3. And they also get an error by the 15 one times. Final score of 72,51% - their lowest score since 2015 in Munich.

Unee BB and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl winning test 77,157%.
